<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 2520 , <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 <br /> OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE <br /> BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; <br /> ESTABLISHING A GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR) ON PART OF <br /> LOTS 1B AND 5, CITY BLOCK 287, ON PROPERTY BELONGING <br /> TO RAMSEUR BAPTIST CHURCH, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN <br /> TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A ONE-FAMILY <br /> DWELLING DISTRICT NO. 2(SF-2); AND DESIGNATING THE <br /> BOUNDARIES OF THE GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR) SO <br /> ESTABLISHED. <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> PA RIS: <br /> <br /> Section l. That the boundaries heretofore established by the <br /> Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, <br /> Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a General <br /> Retail District (GR), be, and the same is hereby established on <br /> part of Lots 1B and 5, City Block 287, on property belonging to <br /> Ramseur Baptist Church, so as to include in such General Retail <br /> District (GR) the hereinafter described property, which was for- <br /> merly and is presently designated as a One-Family Dwelling <br /> District No. 2(SF-2), and that the boundaries of said General <br /> Retail District (GR), be, and the same are hereby established as <br /> follows: <br /> <br /> Situated within the Corporate Limits of the City of <br /> Paris, Lamar County, Texas; being a part of the Joseph <br /> Leach Survey and being a part of a 3. 28 acre tract of <br /> land described .in a Deed from C. W. Cothran and wife to <br /> the Trustees of the Ramseur Baptist Church, recorded in <br /> Volume 491, Page 442, Lamar County Deed Records; <br /> being more particularly described as follows, to-wit: <br /> <br /> BEGINNING at a concrete monument (found) for a <br /> corner, said point being in the South boundary line of <br /> Lamar Avenue and being the present N. E. corner of the <br /> 3. 28 acre tract previously mentioned; also being the <br /> present Northwest corner of the Mirabeau Square <br /> Shopping Center property; <br /> THENCE South 00 degrees 55 minutes East, 34. 0 <br /> feet to a steel rod for a corner; <br /> THENCE South 00 degrees 30 minutes East, 262. 7 <br /> feet to a steel rod (found) for a corner; <br /> THENCE South 89 degrees 53 minutes East, 118.4 <br /> feet to a steel rod (found) for a corner; <br /> THENCE South 00 degrees 30 minutes West, 213.5 <br /> feet to a steel rod (found) for a corner; <br /> THENCE South 89 degrees 50 minutes West, 118.3 <br /> feet to a concrete monument (found) for a corner; <br /> THENCE North 12 degrees 13 minutes West, 217. 8 <br /> feet to a steel rod set for a corner; <br /> THENCE North 08 degrees 31 minutes West, 285.3 <br /> feet to a steel rod set for a corner, said point being in <br /> the South boundary line of Lamar Avenue; <br /> THENCE with the South boundary line of said Lamar <br /> Avenue along a curve to the left having a radius of 7749. 4 <br /> feet and a central angle oE 00 degrees 39 minutes 21 <br /> seconds, a distance of 88.7 feet (chord bears North <br />
