ORDINANCE NO. 2538 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 1 AND 4 OF ORDINANCE NO. 1365, PROVIDING MONTHLY RATES FOR RESIDENTIAL AND COMMERCIAL OUTLETS AND CONNEC- TION CHARGES FOR FM SERVICE FOR MIDWEST VIDEO CONTRACT HOLDERS AND MONTHLY RATES FOR RESI- DENTIAL NON-CONTRACT HOLDERS REQUESTING SERVICE ON AND AFTER DECEMBER l, 1980 AND THE CONNECTION SERVICE CHARGE THEREFOR; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT ORDA INED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: Section 1. That Section 1 of Ordinance No. 1365 shall be amended to read as follows: "Section 1. That Midwest Video Corporation be authorized to place into effect the following schedule of rates for public community antenna signal service within the corporate limits of the City of Paris, Texas, in accordance with the provisions of the Charter of the City of Paris and the franchise granted to said corporation by said City, as follows: a. The rates for all persons owning contracts, which were issued originally on or before the 31st day of May, 1970, will be as follows: CLASS OF SERVICE MONTHLY RATE INTTIAL CHARGE Residential: Monthly Maintenance Fee with $5. 00 1 outlet For each additional TV Outlet 1. 50 FM Connection Charge $8.95 Commercial: Monthly Maintenance Fee with 8.00 1 outlet For each additional TV Outlet 2.50 FM Connection Charge 8.95 b. The rates for all persons requesting service on and after the lst day of December, 1980, who do not possess a contract issued prior to the lst day of June, 1970, will be as follows: CLASS OF SERVICE MONTHLY RATE INITLAL CHARGE Residential: Monthly Maintenance Fee with $6. 25 1 outlet For each additional TV Outlet 1.50 Connection Charge for TV Service $25. 00 Connection Charge for TV and FM 36.95 Service
