ORDINANCE NO. 2540 , AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE DATE FOR A PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPERTY ON PINE MILL ROAD FROM THE N. W. CORNER OF LOT 11, CITY BLOCK 294, FROM A POINT IMMEDIATELY NORTH OF THE SAID CORNER IN THE NORTH RIGHT-OF-WAY LINE OF PINE MILL ROAD, EAST TO THE WEST RIGHT-OF-WAY LINE OF LOOP 286 N. E., BEING THE N. E. CORNER OF LOT 26, CITY BLOCK 296 AND THE S. E. CORNER OF LOT 12, CITY BLOCK 316, IN THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS; DIRECTING THE CITY CLERK OF THE CITY OF PARIS TO PUBLISH THE SAME THREE (3) TIMES IN THE PARIS NEWS AS REQUIRED BY LAW; APPROVING AND AC- CEPTING THE FINAL ESTIMATE OF COSTS AND CONSTRUCTION PLANS OF SUCH STREET IMPROVEMENTS AS FILED BY THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC WORKS OF THE CITY OF PARIS; FIXING THE CHARGES TO BE ASSESSED AGAINST THE ABUTTING PRO- PERTY OWNERS AND THE CHARGES TO BE PAID BY THE CITY OF PARIS; AND WITH THE INTENTION OF FIXING A CHA RGE AND LIEN AGAINST THE REAL AND TRUE OWNERS OF SAID PROPERTY AND AGAINST THE SAID PROPERTY ITSELF. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City oE Paris, Paris, Texas, hereby finds and determines: 1. That the City Council of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, has heretofore by ordinance duly enacted on the 18th day of June, 1979, determined the necessity for and ordered the improvement of Pine Mill Road from the N. W. corner of Lot 11, City Block 294, from a point imme- diately North of the said corner in the North Right-of- Way Line of Pine Mill Road, East to the West Right-of- Way Line of Loop 286 N. E. , being the N. E. corner of Lot 26, City Block 296 and the S. E. corner of Lot 12, City Block 316, by grading, construction of underground drainage facilities, curb and gutter, pavement, replace- ment of inadequate water mains and other appurtenances, according to the plans and specifications prepared by Hayter Engineering, Inc. 2. That a notice duly executed in the name of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, of the enactment of said above described ordinance has heretofore been filed with the County Clerk of Lamar County, Texas, the County in which said City of Paris is situated. 3. That the City Council has caused the Director of Public Works to prepare and file estimates of the costs of such improvements and estimates of the amounts per front foot to be assessed against the property abutting said street within the limits defined and the real and true owners thereof; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS:
