ORDINANCE NO. 2544 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESI'ABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) ON A PART OF LOT 28, CITY BLOCK 259, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO RALPH B. SHELTON, II, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRI- TORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A ONE-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT NO. 2(SF-2); AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE COMMERCIAL DISTRICT SO ESTABLISHED. BE IT ORDA INED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established by the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a Commercial District (C), be, and the same is hereby established on a part of Lot 28, City Block 259, on property belonging to Ralph B. Shelton, II, so as to include in such Commercial District (C) the hereinafter de - scribed property, which was formerly and is presently designated as a One-Family Dwelling District No. 2(SF-2), and that the boundaries of said Commercial District (C), be, and the same are hereby established as follows: Situated within the Corporate Limits of the City of Paris, County of Lamar and State of Texas, a part of the Hiram Williams Survey and being a part of a 16.44 acre tract oE land conveyed Geneva A nn Pate by deed recorded in Volume 457, Page 318 of the Deed Records of said County and State and being further described as follows: BEGINNING at a stake for corner in the South Boundary Line of Hickory Street said point being the Northeast corner of the above mentioned tract of land; THENCE South 0 Degrees 38 Minutes West a distance of 353. 5 feet to an iron pin for corner; THENCE North 88 Degrees 11 Minutes West a distance of 492. 0 feet to an iron pin for corner; THENCE North 0 Degrees 28 Minutes East a distance of 353. 5 feet to a stake for corner in the South Boundary Line of Hickory Street; THENCE South 88 Degrees 11 Minutes East a distance of 493 feet to the place of beginning and containing 3. 997 acres of land, more or less. Section 2. That the Director of Community Development of the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to change the Zoning Map of the City of Paris in aceordance with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use map accompanying the same, and in accordance with the provisions of this ordinance. Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
