<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 2545 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 <br /> OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, ?EXAS, AND CHANGING THE <br /> BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; <br /> ESTABLISHING A COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) ON LOTS 10 AND <br /> 11, CITY BLOCK 55, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO RAYBURN BELL <br /> AND CALVIN R. GIBSON, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY <br /> FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A TWO-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT <br /> (217); AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE COMMERCIAL <br /> DISTRICT (C) SO ES'I'ABLISHED. <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> PARIS: <br /> <br /> Section l. That the boundaries heretofore establf shed by the <br /> Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 oE the City of Paris, Paris, <br /> Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a Commercial <br /> District (C), be, and the same is hereby established on Lots 10 and <br /> 11, City Block 55, on property belonging to Rayburn Bell and Calvin R. <br /> Gibson, so as to include in such Commercial District (C) the herein- <br /> after described property, which was formerly and is presently desig- <br /> nated as a Two-Family Dwelling District (217), and that the bounda- <br /> ries of said Commercial District (C), be, and the same are hereby <br /> established as follows: <br /> <br /> Situated within the corporate limits of the City oE Paris, <br /> Lamar County, Texas, being a part of the Larkin Rattan <br /> Survey, and further described as follows: <br /> BEGINNING at the intersection of the North Boundary <br /> Line of Graham Street with the East Boundary Line of <br /> 4th Street, N. W. ; <br /> THENCE North with the East Boundary Line of 4th <br /> Street, N. W. , a distance of 110 feet to a point for corner; <br /> THENCE East a distance of 77 feet to a point for <br /> corner in the West Line of a tract of land conveyed to <br /> Calvin R. Gibson by Perry F. Stokes, by deed recorded in <br /> Book 544, Page 34, Deed Records of Lamar County, Texas; <br /> THENCE North with the West Line of said Gibson tract, <br /> a distance of 61 feet to the North West Corner of said tract; <br /> THENCE East a distance of 75 feet to the North East <br /> Corner of said Gibson tract; <br /> THENCE South a distance of 171 feet to a point in the <br /> North Boundary Line of Graham Street; <br /> THENCE West with the North Boundary Line of Graham <br /> Street, a distance of 152 feet to the place of beginning. <br /> Section 2. That the Director of Community Development of <br /> the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to change the <br /> Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance with the provisions <br /> of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use map accompanying the <br /> same, and in accordance with the provisions of this ordinance. <br /> <br /> Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict <br /> herewith are hereby expressly repealed. <br /> <br /> Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective immediately <br /> upon passage. <br />
