ORDINANCE NO. 2559 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, CLARIFYING AND BROADENING THE NAME AND DEFINITION OF SPECIFIC USE PERMIT NO. 12; PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY NOT TO EXCEED $200.00; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDI- NANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF APRIL l, 1981. BE IT ORDA INED BY TH E CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: Section 1. That Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be amended as follows: a. That the last chart line of Paragraph 8-102 be amended to read as follows: "Recreational Facility (Private) (12)" b. That Definition No. 12 of Paragraph 8-201 be amended to read as follows: 12. Recreational Facility (Private) A private recreational facility restricted to member- ship or to invitation of the owner, which could include swimming pool, tennis courts, Eootball field, soccer field and similar re- creational facilities, none of which are available to the general public. " c. That Subparagraph 26 of Paragraph 12-100 be amended to read as follows: "(26) Recreational facilities in any residential district. " Section 2. Any person vi.olating any of the provisions of this ordinance shall be guilty of a Class "C" Misdemeanor, and upon conviction shall be fined in any sum not to exceed $200. 00. Section 3. A 11 ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed. Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective on April 1, 1981.
