<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE N0. 2562 <br /> <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE N0. 1710 OF <br /> THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, PROHIBITING THE ERECTION <br /> OF FENCES EXCEEDING FORTY (40) INCHES IN FRONT YARDS; PRO- <br /> VIDING FOR A PENALTY NOT TO EXCEED $200.00; REPEALING ALL <br /> ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; <br /> AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF APRIL 1, 1981. <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> PARIS: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of <br /> Paris, Paris, Texas, be amended by changing Subparagraph <br /> 3 of Paragraph 9-502 to read as follows: <br /> "3. The front yard shall be measured from the <br /> property line to the front face of the build- <br /> ing,covered porch, covered terrace or attached <br /> accessory building. Eaves and roof extensions <br /> may project into the required front yard for a <br /> distance not to exceed four (4) feet and sub- <br /> surface structures, platforms, slabs or fences <br /> may not project into the front yard to a height <br /> greater than forty (40) inches above the average <br /> grade of the yard. (See appendix illustration 5)" <br /> Section 2. Any person violating any of the provisions <br /> of this ordinance shall be guilty of a Class "C'°Misdemeanor, <br /> and upon conviction shall be fined in any sum not to exceed <br /> $200.00. <br /> Section 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in <br /> conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed. <br /> Section 4.
