<br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710
<br /> OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE
<br /> BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY;
<br /> ESTABLISHING A COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) ON LOTS 3, 4, 5, 6,
<br /> 7 AND 8, BLOCK 2, S. J. WRIGHT ADDITION, ON PROPERTY BE-
<br /> LONGING TO DAVID HICKS, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRI-
<br /> TORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT
<br /> (GR); AND DESIGNAT'ING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE COMMERCIAL
<br /> DISTRICT (C) SO ESTABLISHED.
<br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
<br /> PARIS:
<br />
<br /> Section l. That the boundaries heretofore established by the
<br /> Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas,
<br /> be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a Commercial District
<br /> (C), be, and the same is hereby established on Lots 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and
<br /> 8, Block 2, S. J. Wright Addition, on property belonging to David Hicks,
<br /> so as to include in such Commercial District (C), the hereinafter de-
<br /> scribed property, which was formerly and is presently designated as a
<br /> General Retail District (GR), and that the boundaries of said
<br /> Commercial District (C), be, and the same are hereby established as
<br /> follow s :
<br />
<br /> Situated within the Corporate Limits of the City of
<br /> Paris, Lamar County, Texas, and being Lots 3, 4, 5, 6,
<br /> 7 and 8, Block 2, S. J. Wright Addition, located on the
<br /> East Side of 17th Street, S. W. , between Bonham Street
<br /> and West Kaufman Street.
<br />
<br /> Section 2. That the Di.rector of Community Development oF the
<br /> City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to change the Zoning Map
<br /> of the City of Paris in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance No.
<br /> 1710 and the land use map accompanying the same, and in accordance
<br /> with the provisions of this ordinance.
<br />
<br /> Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
<br /> herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
<br />
<br /> Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective immediately
<br /> upon passage.
<br />
<br /> Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City oE Paris in
<br /> regular session convened in the Council Room, City Hall, Paris, Texas,
<br /> on this the 8th day of June, 1981.
