ORDINANCE N0. 2582 AN ORDINANCE AIZENDING ZONING ORDINANCE N0. 1710 OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDA- RIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISH- ING A COiyMiERCIAL DISTRICT (C) ON LOTS 9 AND 9-A, CITY BLOCK 266, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO E. J. JORDA14 AND WIFE, RUBY JORDAN, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIG- NATED AS A NEIGHBORHOOD SERVICE DISTRICT (N5); AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE COMrIERCIAL DISTRICT (C) SO ESTABLISHED. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: Section l. That the boundaries heretofore established by the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the Gity of Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a Commercial District (C), be, and the same is hereby estab- lished on Lots 9 and 9-A, City Block 266, on property be- longing to E. J. Jordan and wife, Ruby Jordan, so as to include in such Commercial District (C) the hereinafter described property, which was formerly and is presently designated as a Neighborhood Service District (NC), and that the boundaries of said Commercial District (C), be, and the same are hereby established as follows: Situated within the corporate limits of the City of Paris, Lamar County, Texas, a part of the Hiram Williams Survey, and part of a tract sold by Hiram Williams to John W. Miller, being also part of Lots 1 and 2 of the J. C. Record estate and part of Lots 1 and 2 of J. S. Booth estate described as follows: BEGINNING at the SW corner of a tract formerly owned by C. W. Howell; THENCE SOUTH 209 feet a stake in the North edge of Pine Bluff Road; THENCE with said road Northeasterly 378 feet, a stake in the SB line of the Iiowell Tract; THENCE WEST with his SB line 282 feet to the place of beginning. Section 2. That the Director of Community Development of the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to change the Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance with the pro- visions of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use map accompanying the same, and in accordance with the provisions of this ordi- nance. Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed. Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective immedi- ately upon passage.
