ORDINANCE N0. 2584 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, PRO- VIDING THAT THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF PARIS, BE AMENDED BY REVISING SECTION 2-51 OF SAID CODE; PROVIDING FOR THE IN- CREASE IN AMBULANCE SERVICE RATES; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF SEPTEMBER l, 1981. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: Section l. That Section 2-51 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Paris be amended so that such shall read as follows: "Sec. 2-51. Ambulance Service Rates. The following rates are established for ambulance service: EMERGENCY SERVICE $50.00 plus $1.50 within the City per mile from point Limits of pick up to point of delivery EMERGENCY TRANSFER $50,00 plus $1.50 SERVICE to a point per mile from point outside the City of pick up to point Limits of delivery TRANSFER SERVICE $45.00 plus $1.50 within the City per mile from point Limits of pick up to point of delivery TRANSFER SERVICE $45.00 plus $1.50 to a point outside per mile from point the City Limits of pick up to point of delivery In addition to the established rates a usual, reasonable and customary charge for medical supplies and service used or required in connection with emergency and trans- fer service shall be made." Section 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in con- flict herewith are hereby expressly repealed. Section 3. This ordinance shall become effective on September 1, 1981.
