ORDINANCE NOo 2402 . A N ORDINA NCE A MENDING ZONING ORDINA NCE NO. 1710 OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) ON LOT 2, CITY BLOCK 320, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO ARNOLD W. PENNINGTON, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A ONE-FAMILY DWELLING DISZ'RICT NO. 2 (SF-2); AND DESIG- NATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE COMMERCLAL DISTRICT (C) SO ESTABLISHED. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: Section l. That the boundaries heretofore established by the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a Commercial District (C), be, and the same is hereby established on Lot 2, City Block 320, on property belonging to Arnold W. Pennington, so as to include in such Commercial District (C) the hereinafter described property, which was formerly and is presently designated as a One- Family Dwelling District No. 2(SF-2), and that the boundaries of said Commercial District (C), be, and the same are hereby es - tablished as follows: Situated about 1-1/2 miles N. E. of the Court House, Paris, Lamar County, Texas, a part of the Joseph Leach Survey, also being a part of Lot (9) Block (B), of the Estate of J. C. Record, also being a part of the First Tract described in Sheriff's Deed to Sam H. Payne, dated December 7, 1938, and recorded in Book 254, Page 9, Lamar County Deed Records. BEGINNING a stake in the S. B. L. of Highway Loop No. 286, a distance of 36 feet West of the original S. E. C. of the aforesaid Lot (9) Block (B). THENCE with the N. B. L. of a road, N. 89 ° W. 249 feet. THENCE North 1° E. 104' to the S. B. L. of said Highway Loop No. 286. THENCE with said S. B. L. of Loop #286, S. 75 ° E. 158 feet. THENCE S. 50 -1 /2 ° E. 120 feet to the place of beginni ng. Section 2. That the Director of Communi.ty Development of the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to change the Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use map accompanying the same, and in accordance with the provisions of this ordinance. Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed. Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon passage.
