ORDINANCE NO. 2404 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) ON A PART OF LOT 1 AND A PART OF LOT 3, CITY BLOCK 344, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO GENE McWATERS, JR., SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS AN AGRICUL- TURAL DISTRICT (A) AND A ONE-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT NO. 2(SF-2); AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) SO ESTABLISHED. BE IT ORDA INED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: Section l. That the boundaries heretofore established by the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a Commercial District (C), be, and the same is hereby established on a Part of Lot 1 and a Part of Lot 3, City Block 344, on property belonging to Gene McWaters, Jr. , so as to include in such Commercial District (C) the hereinafter described property, which was formerly and is presently designated as an Agricultural District (A) and a One- Family Dwelling District No. 2(SF-2), and that the boundaries of said Commercial District (C), be, and the same are hereby es- tablished as follows: Situated within the Corporate Limits of the City of Paris, County of Lamar, and State of Texas, a part of the Isaac Cruise Survey #162, and being a part of a 91. 094 acre tract of land now owned by Gene McWaters, Jr. ; BEGINNING at the present NW corner of said McWaters tract of land; THENCE S 89 ° 25' E a distance of 805 feet; THENCE S 58 ° 48' E a distance of 193. 19 feet; THENCE S 89 ° 25' E a distance of 28 feet; THENCE S 1° 0' W a distance of 420 feet; THENCE N 89 ° W a distance of 1000 feet; THENCE N 1° 0' E a distance of 512 feet to the place oE beginning, containing 11. 63 acres, more or less. Section 2. That the Director of Community Development of the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to change the Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use map accompanyi ng the same, and in accordance with the prov.isions of this ordinance. Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in con- flict herewith are hereby expressly repealed. Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective imme- diately upon passage.
