<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> That at said hearing the Committee listed the structures involved <br /> and introduced pictures of the various portions of the structures <br /> and various portions of the premises involved and a list of dis- <br /> crepancies in the structures located thereon. That the Committee <br /> found that each of the above structures were in such state of de - <br /> terioration and dilapidation as to create a serious fire hazard to <br /> life and property and that each of said buildings was dilapidated <br /> and was dangerous to life and property and dangerous structures <br /> to life and property. That said buildings are in such a state of <br /> dilapidation and decay that none of said structures are capable of <br /> repair. It is further found that the condition of the premises and <br /> structures involved were such that the Committee recommended <br /> to the City Council that they be declared a nuisance and that the <br /> owners thereof be ordered by the City Council to tear down and <br /> remove the same from the lots involved. That said Committee <br /> filed a complete report of its hearing and its findings with the <br /> City Clerk of the City of Paris on the 14th day of August, 1978; <br /> and, <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council Eurther finds that proper notice <br /> was given to the owner or owners of the structures hereinafter <br /> listed. That at said hearing on the 21st day of July, 1978, the <br /> Committee listed the structures involved and introduced pictures <br /> of the various portions of the structures and various portions of <br /> the premises involved and a list of discrepancies in the structures <br /> located thereon. That the Committee found that each of the here- <br /> inafter listed structures was in such state of deterioration and di - <br /> lapidation as to create a serious fire hazard to life and property, <br /> and that each of said buildings was dilapidated and was dangerous <br /> to life and property and dangerous structures to life and property. <br /> That the owners of the property appeared before the Committee <br /> and requested time to repair the structures. That it was the <br /> recommendation of the Committee that the structures be con- <br /> demned or repaired and that the respective owners thereof be <br /> given the time to abate said nuisance by repair or removal as is <br /> set out in connection with each of such addresses, as follows: <br /> <br /> 812 3rd N. E. , Lot 2, City Block 74B Six months <br /> 771 4th N. W. , Lot 5, City Block 89 Six months <br /> 304 3rd S. W. , Lot 5, City Block 118 Indefinite with inspection <br /> after six months <br /> <br /> and it is so stated in the report of the Building Hazard Inspection <br /> Committee filed with the City Clerk of the City of Paris on the 14th <br /> day of August, 1978; and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council has fully heard and considered the <br /> testimony presented upon the hearing and a complete transcript of the <br /> testimony reported by the Building Hazard Inspection Committee; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> PARIS: <br /> <br /> Section l. That the structures located at the following <br /> addresses: <br /> <br /> 34th N. E. & E. Center, Lot 4, City Block 319 <br /> 1024 E. Cherry, Lot 11, City Block 68 <br /> Old Abattoir, Lot 2, City Block 276 <br />
