<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 2418 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 <br /> OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE <br /> BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; <br /> ESTABLISHING A GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR) ON LOTS 4, <br /> 4A AND 413, CITY BLOCK 286, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO <br /> JACI< DENMAN AND JAMES RHEUDASIL, SO AS TO INCLUDE <br /> THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A ONE- <br /> FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT NO. 2(SF-2) AND A PLANNED <br /> DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT, HOUSING DEVELOPMENT (PD-b); AND <br /> DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE GENERAL RETAIL <br /> DISTRICT (GR) SO ESTABLISHED. <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDA INED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> PARIS: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established by the <br /> Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, <br /> Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a General <br /> Retail District (GR), be, and the same is hereby established on <br /> Lots 4, 4A and 413, City Block 286, on property belonging to Jack <br /> Denman and James Rheudasil, so as to include in such General <br /> Retail District (GR) the hereinafter described property, which was <br /> formerly and is presently designated as a One-Family Dwelling <br /> District No. 2(SF-2) and a Planned Development District, Housing <br /> Development (PD-b), and that the boundaries of said General Retail <br /> District (GR), be, and the same are hereby established as follows: <br /> <br /> Situated within the Corporate Limits of the City of <br /> Paris, Lamar County, Texas, a part of the George W. <br /> Cox Survey, and being more particularly described as <br /> follows: <br /> BEGINNING at a point in the East line of North <br /> Collegiate Drive, said point being the Southwest corner <br /> of Lot 4A, City Block 286; <br /> THENCE S 89 ° 30' E a distance of 175 feet to the <br /> Northwest corner of Lot 4, City Block 286; <br /> THENCE S 1° 15' W, a distance of 184. 5 feet to a <br /> point in the North line of Lamar Avenue, said point <br /> being the Southwest corner of said Lot 4; <br /> THENCE S 87 ° 30' E a distance of 140 feet along <br /> the North line of Lamar Avenue to the Southeast corner <br /> of said Lot 4; <br /> THENCE N 1° 50' E a distance of 189 feet to the <br /> Northeast corner of said Lot 4; <br /> THENCE N 2° 20' E a distance of 124 feet to the <br /> Northeast corner of Lot 413, City Block 286; <br /> THENCE N 89 ° 30' W a distance of 325 feet, more <br /> or less, to a point in the East line of North Collegiate <br /> Drive; <br /> THENCE Southerly a distance of 125 feet, more or <br /> less, to the place of beginning. <br />
