ORDINANCE NO. 2428 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR) AND A SPECIFIC USE PERMIT, COMMERCIAL AMUSEMENT, INDOORS (10), ON LOT 1, CITY BLOCI< 270, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO MACI< JONES, JR., SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FOR- MERLY DESIGNATED AS A GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR); AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR) AND SPECIFIC USE PERMIT, COlViMERCIAL AMUSEMENT, INDOORS (10), SO ESTABLISHED. BE IT ORDA INED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established by the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a General Retail District (GR) and a Specific Use Permit, Commercial Amusement, Indoors (10), be, and the same are hereby established on Lot 1, City Block 270, on property belonging to Mack Jones, Jr. , so as to include in such General Retail District (GR) and Specific Use Permit, Commercial Amusement, Indoors (10), the hereinafter described property, which was formerly and is presently designated as a General Retail District (GR), and that the boundaries of said General Retail District (GR) and Specific Use Permit, Commercial Amusement, Indoors (10), be, and the same are hereby established as follows: Situated within the Corporate Limits of the City of Paris, Lamar County, Texas, a part of the Redding Russell Survey, described as follows: BEGINNING at the intersection of the East Boundary Line oE Fitzhugh Avenue with the North Boundary Line of Blake Road; THENCE East with said North Boundary Line, 33 feet to a point for corner; THENCE North 190 feet to a point for corner; THENCE West, 33 feet to a point in the East Boundary Line of Fitzhugh Avenue; THENCE South with said East Boundary Line, 190 feet to the place of beginning. Section 2. Zhat the Director of Community Development of the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to change the Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use map accompanying the same, and in accordance with the provisions of this ordinance. Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed. Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon passage.
