<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 2428 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 <br /> OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE <br /> BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; <br /> ESTABLISHING A GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR) AND A <br /> SPECIFIC USE PERMIT, COMMERCIAL AMUSEMENT, INDOORS <br /> (10), ON LOT 1, CITY BLOCI< 270, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO <br /> MACI< JONES, JR., SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FOR- <br /> MERLY DESIGNATED AS A GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR); <br /> AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE GENERAL RETAIL <br /> DISTRICT (GR) AND SPECIFIC USE PERMIT, COlViMERCIAL <br /> AMUSEMENT, INDOORS (10), SO ESTABLISHED. <br /> BE IT ORDA INED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> PARIS: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established by the <br /> Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, <br /> Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a General <br /> Retail District (GR) and a Specific Use Permit, Commercial <br /> Amusement, Indoors (10), be, and the same are hereby established <br /> on Lot 1, City Block 270, on property belonging to Mack Jones, Jr. , <br /> so as to include in such General Retail District (GR) and Specific <br /> Use Permit, Commercial Amusement, Indoors (10), the hereinafter <br /> described property, which was formerly and is presently designated <br /> as a General Retail District (GR), and that the boundaries of said <br /> General Retail District (GR) and Specific Use Permit, Commercial <br /> Amusement, Indoors (10), be, and the same are hereby established <br /> as follows: <br /> <br /> Situated within the Corporate Limits of the City of <br /> Paris, Lamar County, Texas, a part of the Redding <br /> Russell Survey, described as follows: <br /> BEGINNING at the intersection of the East Boundary <br /> Line oE Fitzhugh Avenue with the North Boundary Line of <br /> Blake Road; <br /> THENCE East with said North Boundary Line, 33 feet <br /> to a point for corner; <br /> THENCE North 190 feet to a point for corner; <br /> THENCE West, 33 feet to a point in the East <br /> Boundary Line of Fitzhugh Avenue; <br /> THENCE South with said East Boundary Line, <br /> 190 feet to the place of beginning. <br /> <br /> Section 2. Zhat the Director of Community Development of <br /> the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to change the <br /> Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance with the provisions <br /> of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use map accompanying the <br /> same, and in accordance with the provisions of this ordinance. <br /> <br /> Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict <br /> herewith are hereby expressly repealed. <br /> <br /> Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective immediately <br /> upon passage. <br />
