<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE N0. 2429 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 <br /> OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE <br /> BOUNDA RIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SA ID CITY; <br /> ESTABLISHING A LIGHT INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT (LI) ON A PART <br /> OF LOT 15, CITY BLOCI< 170A, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO <br /> HARRISON, WALKER AND HARPER, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN <br /> TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS AN AGRICULTURAL <br /> DISTRICT (A); AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE <br /> LIGHT INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT (LI) SO ESTABLISHED. <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> PARIS: <br /> <br /> Section l. That the boundaries heretofore established by the <br /> Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, <br /> Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a Light <br /> Industrial District (LI), be, and the same is hereby established on <br /> a part of Lot 15, City Block 170A, on property belonging to <br /> Harrison, Walker and Harper, so as to include in such Light <br /> Industrial District (LI) the hereinafter descr.ibed property, which <br /> was formerly and is presently designated as an Agricultural District <br /> (A), and that the boundaries of said Light Industrial District (LI), <br /> be, and the same are hereby established as follows: <br /> <br /> Situated within the corporate limits of the City of <br /> Paris, County of Lamar, and State of Texas, a part of <br /> the James Bourland Survey, Abstract No. 69, and being <br /> a part of a tract of land conveyed to Northera Martin <br /> as recorded in Volume 303, page 223, of the Lamar <br /> County Deed Records, also being all of a tract of land <br /> conveyed to Mike L. Julian as recorded in Volume 222, <br /> page 797, of the Lamar County Deed of Trust Records. <br /> BEGINNING at an iron pin for corner in the WBL of <br /> State Highway 19 (S. H. 24) said point being the SEC of <br /> a 0. 861 acre tract of land conveyed to McAsh Corporation <br /> by deed recorded in Vol. 547, Page 470, of said deed <br /> records, said point also being S. 23 ° 35' W. a distance of <br /> 136. 4 feet from the NEC of said Martin tract of land; <br /> THENCE S. 88° 47' W. with said McAsh's SBL a <br /> distance of 299. 1 feet to an iron pipe for said McAsh's <br /> SWC; <br /> THENCE N. 22° 22' E. with said McAsh's WBL a <br /> distance of 137. 3 feet to an iron pin for said McAsh's <br /> NWC, same being a point in the NBL of said Martin's <br /> tract of land; <br /> THENCE S. 89 ° 30' W. with said Martin's NB and <br /> said Julian's NBL a distance of 1314. 2 feet to an iron <br /> pin for corner in the EBL of 7th SW Street, said point <br /> being the NWC of said Martin's and said Julian's tracts <br /> of land; <br /> THENCE S. 0° 45' W. with the EBL of said street a <br /> distance of 1328. 8 feet to a stake for corner in the NBL <br /> of Loop Highway 286; <br /> THENCE S. 88 ° 35' E. with said Loop Highway's <br /> NBL a distance of 25 feet to a concrete monument; <br />
