ORDINANCE N0. 243 2 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, PROVIDING THAT THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF PARIS, BE AMENDED BY REVISING THE TRAFFIC NO PARKING MAP ADOPTED IN PARAGRAPH (c) AND THE TRAFFIC PARKING MAP ADOPTED IN PARAGRAPH (b) OF SECTION 29-112 OF SAID CODE; ESTABLISHING THREE NO PARKING AREAS AND ONE FIFTEEN (15) MINUTE LOADING ZONE ON THE WEST SIDE OF 3RD STREET S. E. IN THE 200 BLOCK; PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY NOT TO EXCEED $200.00; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF MARCH 1, 1979. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: Section 1. That the Traffic No Parking Map adopted in Paragraph (c) of Section 29-112 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be amended to include the following No Parking areas: "On the West side of 3rd Street, S. E., beginning at the South Boundary Line of East Kaufman Street's intersection with the West Boundary Line of 3rd Street, S. E.; Thence South 183 feet. On the West side of 3rd Street, S. E., beginning 213 feet South of the South Boundary Line of East Kaufman Street's intersection with the West Boundary Line of 3rd Street S. E.; Thence South 50 feet. On the West side of 3rd Street, S. E., beginning 304 feet South of the South Boundary Line of East Kaufman Street's intersection with the West Boundary Line of 3rd Street, S. E.; Thence South 42 feet," Section 2. That the Traffic Parking Map adopted in Paragraph (b) of Section 29-112 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Paris be amended to include a fifteen (15) minute loading zone as follows: "On the West side of 3rd Street, S. E., beginning 183 feet South of the South Boundary Line of East Kaufman Street's intersection with the West Boundary Line of 3rd Street, S. E.; Thence South 30 feet." Section 3. Any person violating any of the provisions of this ordinance shall be guilty of a Class "C" Misdemeanor, and upon conviction shall be fined in any sum not to exceed $200.00. Section 4. All Ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed. Section 5. This ordinance shall become effective on March 1, 1979.
