<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 2443 , <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE APPOINTING THREE MEMBERS TO THE <br /> EQUALIZATION BOARD OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, <br /> TO SERVE FOR THE CURRENZ' TAXABLE YEAR, ESTABLISHING <br /> THE TIME FOR THE FIRST MEETING OF THE EQUALIZATION <br /> BOARD, ESTABLISHING THE RATE OF PAY FOR THE MEMBERS <br /> OF SAID BOARD, AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> PA RIS: <br /> Section 1. That Ben Marable, Joe King and Dee Cunningham, <br /> all residents of the City of Paris, Lamar County, Texas, and quali- <br /> fied voters and real property owners in said City, be, and they are <br /> hereby appointed as the Board of Equalization of the City of Paris, <br /> Paris, Texas, for the current taxable year. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That the time of the meeting of said Equalization <br /> Board is hereby fixed for the 4th day of June, 1979. <br /> <br /> Section 3. The regular place of ineeting of and for the <br /> Equalization Board is hereby fixed and established as Conference <br /> Room, First Floor City Hall, in the City of Paris, Texas. <br /> <br /> Section 4. The rate of pay for each such appointed member <br /> of said Equalization Board for the current taxable year is hereby <br /> established at the rate of Fifty ($50. 00) Dollars per day, and the <br /> City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to make payment <br /> out of the City funds to such members at such rate of pay of FiEty <br /> 650. 00) Dollars per day. <br /> <br /> Section 5.
