<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> ORDINA NCF NO. 2446 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZON ING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 <br /> OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE <br /> BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; <br /> ESTABLISHING A GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT ON THE NORTH <br /> 275 FEET OF LOTS 20 AND 21, CITY BLOCK 249, ON PROPERTY <br /> BELONGING TO GLEN NASH AND H. P. GURLEY, SO AS TO IN- <br /> CLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A <br /> ONE-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT NO. 2(SF-2); AND DESIGNAT- <br /> ING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR) <br /> SO ESTABLISHED. <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> PA RIS: <br /> <br /> Section l. That the boundaries heretofore established by the <br /> Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, <br /> Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a General <br /> Retail District (GR), be, and the same is hereby established on the <br /> North 275 feet of Lots 20 and 21, City Block 249, on property belong- <br /> ing to Glen Nash and H. P. Gurley, so as to include in such General <br /> Retail District (GR) the hereinafter described property, which was <br /> formerly and is presently designated as a One-Family Dwelling <br /> District No. 2(SF-2), and that the boundaries of said General Retail <br /> District (GR), be, and the same are hereby established as follows: <br /> Situated within the Corporate Limits of the City of <br /> Paris, Lamar County, Texas. <br /> BEGINNING at a point in the South Line of Lamar <br /> Avenue, 309.8 feet East of the East Line of Collegiate <br /> Drive and being the Northwest Corner of a tract of land <br /> belonging to G. D. Nash; <br /> THENCE Easterly along the South Line of Lamar <br /> Avenue, 255. 9 feet to the Northeast Corner of a tract <br /> of land belonging to H. P. Gurley; <br /> THENCE Southerly along the Gurley East Boundary <br /> Line, 275 feet to a point; <br /> THENCE Westerly, 275 feet South of and parallel with <br /> the South Line of Lamar A venue, 255. 9 feet to a point in <br /> the West Boundary Line of said Nash tract; <br /> THENCE Northerly along the Nash West Boundary Line, <br /> 275 feet to the place of beginning. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That the Director of Community Development of <br /> the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to change the <br /> Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance with the provisions <br /> of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use map accompanying the <br /> same, and in accordance with the provis.ions of this ordinance. <br /> <br /> Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict <br /> herewith are hereby expressly repealed. <br /> <br /> Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective immediately <br /> upon passage. <br />
