ORDINA NCF NO. 2446 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZON ING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT ON THE NORTH 275 FEET OF LOTS 20 AND 21, CITY BLOCK 249, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO GLEN NASH AND H. P. GURLEY, SO AS TO IN- CLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A ONE-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT NO. 2(SF-2); AND DESIGNAT- ING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR) SO ESTABLISHED. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PA RIS: Section l. That the boundaries heretofore established by the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a General Retail District (GR), be, and the same is hereby established on the North 275 feet of Lots 20 and 21, City Block 249, on property belong- ing to Glen Nash and H. P. Gurley, so as to include in such General Retail District (GR) the hereinafter described property, which was formerly and is presently designated as a One-Family Dwelling District No. 2(SF-2), and that the boundaries of said General Retail District (GR), be, and the same are hereby established as follows: Situated within the Corporate Limits of the City of Paris, Lamar County, Texas. BEGINNING at a point in the South Line of Lamar Avenue, 309.8 feet East of the East Line of Collegiate Drive and being the Northwest Corner of a tract of land belonging to G. D. Nash; THENCE Easterly along the South Line of Lamar Avenue, 255. 9 feet to the Northeast Corner of a tract of land belonging to H. P. Gurley; THENCE Southerly along the Gurley East Boundary Line, 275 feet to a point; THENCE Westerly, 275 feet South of and parallel with the South Line of Lamar A venue, 255. 9 feet to a point in the West Boundary Line of said Nash tract; THENCE Northerly along the Nash West Boundary Line, 275 feet to the place of beginning. Section 2. That the Director of Community Development of the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to change the Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use map accompanying the same, and in accordance with the provis.ions of this ordinance. Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed. Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon passage.
