<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 2447 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 <br /> OF THE C ITY OF PA R IS, PA R IS, TEXA S, A ND CHA NG ING THE <br /> BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; <br /> ESTABLISHING A GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR) ON THE <br /> NORTH 435 FEET OF LOTS 18A AND 19, CITY BLOCK 249, ON <br /> PROPERTY BELONGING TO MORGAN JOHNSON AND W. D. <br /> McGUINNESS, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMER- <br /> LY DESIGNATED AS A ONE-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT NO. 2 <br /> (SF-2); AND DESIGNATTNG THE BOUNDARIES OF THE GENERAL <br /> RETAIL DISTRICT (GR) SO ESTABLISHED. <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> PARIS: <br /> <br /> Section l. That the boundaries heretofore established by the <br /> Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, <br /> Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a General <br /> Retail District (GR), be, and the same is hereby established on the <br /> North 435 feet of Lots 18A and 19, City Block 249, on property be - <br /> longing to Morgan Johnson and W. D. McGuinness, so as to include in <br /> such General Retail District (GR) the hereinafter described property, <br /> which was formerly and is presently designated as a One-Family <br /> Dwelling District No. 2(SF -2), and that the boundaries of said <br /> General Retail District (GR), be, and the same are hereby established <br /> as follows: <br /> <br /> Situated within the Corporate Limits of the City of <br /> Paris, Lamar County, Texas. <br /> BEGINNING at the intersection of the South Line of <br /> Lamar Avenue with the East Line of Collegiate Drive; <br /> THENCE Easterly with the South Line of Lamar <br /> Avenue, 309. 8 feet to a point, the Northwest corner of <br /> a tract of land belonging to W. D. McGuinness; <br /> THENCE Southerly with the McGuinness East <br /> Boundary Line, 435 feet r.o a point; <br /> THENCE Westerly, 435 feet South of and parallel <br /> with the South Line of Lamar Avenue, 309. 8 feet to a <br /> point in the East Line of Collegiate Drive; <br /> THENCE Northerly with the East Line of Collegiate <br /> Drive, 435 feet to the place of beginning. <br /> Section 2. That the Director of Community Development of <br /> the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to change the <br /> Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance with the provisions <br /> of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use map accompanying the <br /> same, and in accordance with the provisions of this ordinance. <br /> <br /> Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict <br /> herewith are hereby expressly repealed. <br /> <br /> Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective immediately <br /> upon passage. <br />
