<br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZQNING ORDINANCE N0. 1710 OF
<br /> THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES
<br /> ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLTSHING AN
<br /> OFFICE DISTRICT (0), ON PARTS OF LOTS 2 AND 3, CITY BLOCK
<br /> 248B, AT THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF CLARKSVILLE STREET AND 20TH
<br /> STREET, S. E., ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO LOWRY CARRINGTON,SO
<br /> AS TO INCLUDE THEREIrd TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS TWO-
<br /> FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT (2F); AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES
<br /> OF THE OFFICE DISTRICT (0) SO ESTABLISHED.
<br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
<br /> PARIS:
<br /> Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established
<br /> by the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris,
<br /> Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that
<br /> an Office District (0), be, and the same is hereby established
<br /> and described as follows: Parts of Lots 2 and 3, City Block
<br /> 248B, at the Southwest corner of Clarksville Street and 20th
<br /> Street S. E., on property belonging to Lowry Carrington, so
<br /> as to include in such Office District (0), the hereinafter des-
<br /> cribed property which was formerly and is presently designated
<br /> as a Two-Family Dwelling District (2F), and that the boundaries
<br /> of the said Office District (0), be, and the same are hereby
<br /> established as follows:
<br /> Situated in Lamar County, State of Texas, A part
<br /> of the George W. Cox Survey, being in City Block 248B,
<br /> Paris, Lamar County, Texas;
<br /> BEGINNING at the N. E. Corner of a tract of land
<br /> described in Deed to Mrs. Alice Cross from C. W. Cothran
<br /> and wife, dated April l, 1940, recorded in Book 251, Page
<br /> 309, Lamar County Deed Records;
<br /> THENCE in a Southeasterly direction with the SB line
<br /> of Clarksville Street, 145.5 feet a stake, the W.B. line
<br /> of 20th Street, S. E.;
<br /> THENCE South with the WB line of 20th Street S. E.,
<br /> 133 feet, a stake, the N. E. Corner of lot once owned
<br /> by Lida Mae Parker;
<br /> THENCE West with fence line 198 feet, a fence corner,
<br /> being the N. W. corner of said Parker lot;
<br /> THENCE North 20 feet, a fence corner, the S. W. corner
<br /> of a lot once owned by R. V. Free;
<br /> THENCE East with fence line 87.3 feet the S. E. corner
<br /> of said Free lot;
<br /> THENCE North 190 feet to the place of beginning.
<br /> Section 2. That the Director of Community Development of
<br /> the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to change the
<br /> Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance with the provisions
<br /> of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use map accompanying the same,
<br /> and in accordance with the provisions of this ordinance.
<br /> Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in con-
<br /> flict herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
