<br /> AN ORDINANCE CLOSING THE ALLEY, BEGINNING AT THE
<br /> WEST BOUNDARY LINE OF 8TH STREET, S. E., AT THE SOUTH
<br /> EAST CORNER OF LOT 1 AND THE NORTH EAST CORNER OF
<br /> LOT 19, BLOCK 6, GIBBONS PARK ADDITION, BEING 20 FEET
<br /> WIDE, AND EXTENDING IN A WESTERLY DIRECTION, APPROXI-
<br /> MATELY 347 FEET, 1VIORE OR LESS, TO ITS DEADEND AND
<br /> THE SOUTH WEST CORNER OF LOT 7 AND THE NORTH WEST
<br /> CORNER OF LOT 13, BLOCK 6, GIBBONS PARK ADDITION, LYING
<br /> ADJACENT TO THE SOUTH BOUNDARY LINES OF LOTS 1 THROUGH
<br /> 7 AND THE NORTH BOUNDARY LINES OF LOTS 13 ?HROUGH 19,
<br /> ALL IN BLOCK 6, GIBBONS PARI< ADDITION; DECLARING NO NE-
<br /> CESSITY OR NEED OF SAID ALLEY FOR CITY USE OTHER THAN
<br /> FOR A UTILITY EASEMENT, WHICH IS EXPRESSLY RETAINED BY
<br /> THE CITY OF PARIS; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE
<br /> OF OCTOBER 8, 1979.

<br /> WHEREAS, it has been brought to the attention of the City
<br /> Council of the City of Paris, that an alley, beginning at the West
<br /> Boundary Line of 8th Street, S. E. , at the South East Corner of
<br /> Lot 1 and the North East Corner of Lot 19, Block 6, Gibbons
<br /> Park Addition, being 20 feet wide, and extending in a Westerly
<br /> direction approximately 347 Eeet, more or less, to its deadend
<br /> and the South West Corner of Lot 7 and the North West Corner
<br /> of Lot 13, Block 6, Gibbons Park Addition, lying adjacent to the
<br /> South Boundary Lines of Lots 1 through 7 and the North Boundary
<br /> Lines of Lots 13 through 19r all in Block 6, Gibbons Park Addition,
<br /> is of no use as an alley to the City of Paris or to its citizens, but
<br /> is of use and necessary to the City of Paris and its citizens for
<br /> utility easement purposes, and the City Council so finds; NOW,
<br /> THEREFORE,

<br /> BE IT ORDA INED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
<br /> PARIS:
<br />
<br /> Section 1. That the alley, beginning at the West Boundary
<br /> Line of 8th Street, S. E. , at the South East Corner of Lot 1 and
<br /> the North East Corner of Lot 19, Block 6, Gibbons Park Addition,
<br /> being 20 feet wide, and extending in a Westerly direction approxi-
<br /> mately 347 feet, more or less, to its deadend and the South West
<br /> Corner of Lot 7 and the North West Corner of Lot 13, Block 6,
<br /> Gibbons Park Addition, lying adjacent to the South Boundary Lines
<br /> of Lots 1 through 7 and the North Boundary Lines of Lots 13
<br /> through 19, all in Block 6, Gibbons Park Addition, is hereby
<br /> closed, with the City of Paris retaining a utility easement.
<br /> Section 2. This ordinance shall become effective on
<br /> October 8, 1979.
