<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE N0. 2482 <br /> <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE N0. 1710 OF THE <br /> CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES <br /> ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A <br /> GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR) AND A SPECIFIC USE PERMIT, DAY <br /> NURSERY (25), ON LOT 3, CITY BLOCK 103, UPON PROPERTY OF WHICH <br /> MAX F. LEE OWNS A CURRENT OPTIOV, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN <br /> TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR); <br /> AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT <br /> (GR) AND SPECIFIC USE PERMIT, DAY NURSERY (25), SO ESTABLISHED. <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> PARIS: <br /> Section l. That the boundaries heretofore established by <br /> the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, <br /> Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a General <br /> Retail District (GR) and a Specific Use Permit, Day Nursery (25), <br /> be, and the same are hereby established on Lot 3, City Block 103, <br /> upon property of which Max F. Lee owns a current option, so as <br /> to include in such General Retail District (GR) and Specific Use <br /> Permit, Day Nursery (25), the hereinafter described property, <br /> which was formerly and is presently designated as a General Retail <br /> District (GR), and that the boundaries of said General Retail <br /> District (GR) and Specific Use Permit, Day Nursery (25), be, and <br /> the same are hereby established as follows: <br /> FIRST TRACT: Situated in Lamar County, Texas, a <br /> part o the Larkin Rattan Survey within the corporate <br /> limits of the City of Paris, described by metes and <br /> bounds as follows: <br /> BEGINNING at a stake in the SB line of Lamar Avenue <br /> at a point 181.5 feet East of the East line of the sidewalk <br /> on the East side of lOth Street S.E., said sidewalk being <br /> along the West side of the Lillian LeClercq Ragland property, <br /> said SB line of Lamar Avenue being one foot south of the <br /> South side of the sidewalk on the North side of this property; <br /> THENCE EAST with the SB line of Lamar Avenue 65 feet, <br /> a stake at the NW corner of property now or formerly owned <br /> by Sam Payne; <br /> THENCE SOUTH with Payne's WB line 120 feet, a stake in <br /> fence; <br /> THENCE WEST 65 feet, a stake at the SE corner of the <br /> property now or formerly owned by J. W. Davis; <br /> THENCE NORTH 120 feet to the place of beginning. <br /> SECOND TRACT: A part of the Larkin Rattan Survey within <br /> the corporate imits of the City of Paris, described by metes <br /> and bounds as follows: <br /> BEGINNING at a point 245.5 feet East and 120 feet South <br /> of the intersection of the SB line of Lamar Avenue with the <br /> EB line of lOth Street S.E., which beginning point is also <br /> the SE corner of the property conveyed by Tommie Mitchell <br /> and wife, Shirley Mitchell, to Geo. A. Stevenson and wife, <br /> Maude K. Stevenson, on February 15, 1956, by deed recorded <br /> in Book 347, Page 485, Lamar County Deed Records, the First <br /> Tract, above described; <br /> THENCE SOUTH 69.5 feet, a stake; <br /> THENCE WEST 65 feet, more or less, a stake due South of <br /> the SW corner of the above mentioned Mitchell-Stevenson lot; <br /> THENCE NORTH 69.5 feet, more or less, a stake at the <br /> SW corner of said Mitchell--Stevenson lot; <br /> THENCE EAST 65 feet, more or less to the place of be- <br /> ginning. <br />
