<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 2492 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 <br /> OF THE CITY OF PA R IS, PA R IS, TEXA S, A ND CHA NG ING THE <br /> BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; <br /> ESTABLISHING A COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) ON LOT 7, CITY <br /> BLOCK 316, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO JOHN W. McCOY, SR., <br /> SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIG- <br /> NATED AS A ONE-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT NO. 2(SF-2); <br /> AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE COMMERCIAL <br /> DISTRICT (C) SO ESTABLISHED. <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDA INED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> PA R IS: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established by the <br /> Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, <br /> Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a Commercial <br /> District (C), be, and the same is hereby established on Lot 7, City <br /> Block 316, on property belonging to John W. McCoy, Sr. , so as to in- <br /> clude in such Commercial District (C) the hereinafter described pro- <br /> perty, which was formerly and is presently designated as a One- <br /> Family Dwelling District No. 2(SF-2), and that the boundaries of <br /> said Commercial District (C), be, and the same are hereby es - <br /> tablished as follows: <br /> <br /> Situated within the corporate limits of the City of <br /> Paris, Lamar County, Texas, and being a part of the <br /> Joseph Leach Survey, and being a part of a 22. 57 acre <br /> tract of land conveyed to J. W. McCoy by deed recorded <br /> in Vol. 379, Page 422, of the Deed Records of said County <br /> and State. <br /> BEGINNING at a point in the South Right of Way Line <br /> oE Loop 286 N. E. , said point being the Northeast corner <br /> of said McCoy tract; <br /> THENCE S 2° W a distance of 571 feet; <br /> THENCE West a distance of 528 feet; <br /> THENCE North a distance of 241 feet; <br /> THENCE West a distance of 630 feet to a point, <br /> the Southwest corner of said McCoy tract; <br /> THENCE North a distance of 928 feet to a point in <br /> the South Right of Way Line of said Loop 286; <br /> THENCE Easterly with the South Line of Loop 286 <br /> N. E. , the following: S 71 ° 25' E, 89. 9 feet; N 63 ° 35' E, <br /> 69. 2 feet; Easterly with a curve to the right 945. 8 feet; <br /> S 40 ° 52' E, 98. 1 feet; S 49 ° 10' E, 190 feet; S 64 ° 40' E, <br /> 62. 3 feet to the place of beginning and containing 19. 40 <br /> acres of land, more or less. <br /> Section 2. That the Director of Community Development of <br /> the City oE Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to change the <br /> Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance with the provisions <br /> of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use map accompanying the <br /> same, and in accordance with the provisions of this ordinance. <br /> <br /> Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict <br /> herewith are hereby expressly repealed. <br />
