MINUTES <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />AIRPORT ADVISORY BOARD <br />CITY OF PARIS - CITY HALL <br />COUNCIL CHAMBERS <br />107 E. KAUFMAN STREET <br />PARIS, TEXAS <br />THURSDAY, APRIL 19, 2012 <br />5:30 O'CLOCK PM <br />The Airport Advisory Board meeting was called to order by Billy Copeland, Chairman at <br />5:30 p.m. <br />A. The following members were present: <br />Ray Ball <br />Jerry Coyle <br />Fred Williams <br />Billy Copeland <br />Vic Ressler <br />B. The following members were absent: <br />Steve Gilbert <br />Phillip Payne <br />C. Also present was Shawn Napier, Airport Director; Edwin Pickle, Council Member; <br />and Jerry Richey, Airport Manager. <br />2. Approval ofminutes, from previous meeting. (March 15, 2012) <br />Motion was made by Fred Williams, seconded by Jerry Coyle to approve the minutes for <br />the March 15, 2012 meeting. Motion carried 5-0. <br />3. Report,fr-om Shawn Napier•, Airport Director: <br />A. Status of Airport Improvements - Shawn Napier made a report to board members. <br />Mr. Napier stated Blue Bay construction has started the project at the airport. We <br />have been communicating with TXDOT aviation regarding future developinent. <br />TXDOT aviation informed the City that hangar grants are no longer a 75/25 grant <br />match; they are now a 90/10 grant match. Mr. Napier further stated to take <br />advantage of these grants you must have the air side completed. He will be getting <br />with Sandra Braden to review what is left to complete on the air side; that way the <br />City can look at applying for grant monies the following year. Mr. Napier stated if <br />there are any additional repair issues that need to be addressed get a list to him or <br />Jerry. There will be money left over which we can utilize for additional items <br />that need to be repaired. <br />18 <br />
