ORDINANCE NO. 2303 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 <br />OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE <br />BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; <br />ESTABLISHING A COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) ON LOT 29, CITY <br />BLOCI< 259, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO J. D. MILLS, JR., SO AS <br />TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A <br />ONE-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT NO. 2(SF-2); AND DESIGNAT- <br />ING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) SO <br />ESTABLISHED. <br />BE IT ORDA INED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PA R IS: <br />Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established by the <br />Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, <br />be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a Commercial District <br />(C), be, and the same is hereby established on Lot 29, City Block 259, <br />on property belonging to J. D. Mills, Jr. , so as to include in such <br />Commercial District (C) the hereinafter described property, which was <br />formerly and is presently designated as a One-Family Dwelling District <br />No. 2(SF-2), and that the boundaries of said Commercial District (C), <br />be, and the same are hereby established as follows: <br />Situated within the Corporate Limits of the City of <br />Paris, County of Lamar and State of Texas, being a part <br />of the Hiram Williams Survey, Abstract No. 1003, and <br />being a part of Lots 8 and 3, Block B, in Division of the <br />J. C. Record Estate, also being the same tract of land <br />conveyed to H. H. Baton by Uvalde Construction Company <br />as recorded in Book 313, Page 561, of the Lamar County <br />Deed Records, and also, being the same tract of land <br />conveyed to J. D. Mills, Jr. as recorded in Deed of Trust <br />Records, Volume 209, Page 258, of said County; save and <br />except that part of said tract occupied by Highway Loop <br />No. 286: <br />BEGINNING at an iron pin, the Northwest corner of <br />said tract conveyed to Mills, same being a point in the <br />South Boundary Line of Loop Highway 286; <br />THENCE S 0° 28' E with said Mills' West Boundary <br />Line a distance of 680. 7 feet to an iron pin, same being <br />said Mills' Southwest corner; <br />THENCE S 89 ° 36' E with said Mills' South Boundary <br />Line a distance of 567. 2 feet to an iron pin, same being <br />said Mills' Southeast Corner; <br />THENCE N 0° 18' W with said Mills' East Boundary <br />Line a distance of 537. 9 feet to an iron pin for corner <br />in the South Boundary Line of said Highway; <br />THENCE with said Highway's South Boundary Line as <br />follows: N 73 ° 19' W a distance of 114. 1 feet; <br />N 71 ° 24' W a distance of 365. 8 feet; and S 89 ° 05' W a <br />distance of 114. 2 feet to the place of beginning and con- <br />taining 8. 137 acres of land, more or less. <br />Being described in accordance with an actual survey <br />made on the ground by Ernest R. Franke, Registered <br />Professional Engineer, State of Texas License No. 29350, <br />completed on the 15th day of October, 1974. <br />
