<br />AN ORDINANCE SETTING A DATE, TIME AND PLACE FOR
<br />PUBLIC HEARINGS BEFORE THE PLANNING AND ZONING
<br />COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PARIS AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF
<br />THE CITY OF PARIS ON THE PROPOSED ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN
<br />PROPERTY BY THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND
<br />COMMERCIAL ZONING UPON ANNEXATION, AND AUTHORIZING
<br />AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO PUBLISH NOTICE OF SUCH
<br />PUBLIC HEARINGS.
<br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
<br />PARIS:
<br />Section 1. That a public hearing be held by and before the
<br />Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas,
<br />on the 3rd day of January, 1977, at 7:00 o'clock P. M. , in the Council
<br />Room, City Hall, Paris, Texas, and by and before the City Council of
<br />the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, on the lOth day of January, 1977, at
<br />7:00 o'clock P. M. , in the Council Room, City Hall, Paris, Texas,
<br />giving all interested persons the right to appear and be heard on the
<br />proposed annexation and commercial zoning upon annexation of the
<br />following described property:
<br />BEGINNING at the Northeast corner of a 4. 72 acre
<br />tract of land out of the Isaac Cruse Survey, conveyed
<br />John R. Webster, Jr. , by deed dated January 10, 1976,
<br />recorded in Volume 575, Page 443, Deed Records,
<br />Lamar County, Texas, said corner being in the South
<br />Right of Way Line of U. S. Highway No. 82 and in the
<br />present City Limit Line of the City of Paris;
<br />THENCE S 1 degree 00 minutes W with the present
<br />City Limit Line and the East Boundary Line of said
<br />Webster tract, a distance of 504.0 feet to a point;
<br />THENCE N 88 degrees 55 minutes W, parallel with
<br />and 504 feet South of the South Right of Way Line of
<br />U. S. Highway No. 82, a distance of 540. 0 feet to a
<br />point in the most Easterly West Boundary Line of a
<br />54.80 acre tract of land conveyed Lisle Mullins and
<br />wife, Helen Mullins, by deed dated January 11, 1966,
<br />recorded in Volume 438, Page 292, Deed Records,
<br />Lamar County, Texas;
<br />THENCE N 1 degree 00 minutes E, along said
<br />West Boundary Line, a distance of 504. 0 feet to a point
<br />in the South Right of Way Line of U. S. Highway No. 82;
<br />THENCE S 88 degrees 55 minutes E, along said
<br />South Right of Way Line of U. S. Highway No. 82, a
<br />distance of 540.0 feet to the place of beginning and
<br />containing 6.27 acres of land, more or less.
