THENCE S 89 ° 30' E with the North Right of Way Line of Old Bonhan Road 1277. 0 feet to a point in the East Right of Way Line of 41st S. W. , said point being in the present City Limit Line; THENCE N 10 00' E with the East Right of Way Line of 41st S. W. and the present City Limit Line, a distance of 2803 feet to a point; THENCE N 89° 25' W across 41st S. W. and with the present City Limit Line, a distance of 1277.0 feet to the place of beginning and containing 82. 3 acres of land, more or less. Section 2. That the Mayor of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, is hereby authorized and directed to cause notice of such public hear- ings to be published once in the newspaper having general circulation in the City and in the above described territory not more than twenty (20) days nor less than ten (10) days prior to the date of such public hearings, all in accordance with the Municipal Annexa tio n Act (Chapter 160, Acts of the 58th Legislature, Regular Session, 1963; compiled as Article 970a, Vernon's Texas Civil Statutes). Section 3. It is hereby declared to be the intention of the City Council of the City of Paris that the sections, paragraphs, sentences, clauses and phrases of this ordinance are severable, and if any phrase, clause, sentence, paragraph or section of this ordinance shall be de - clared unconstitutional or invalid by the valid judgment or decree of any court of competent jurisdiction, such unconstitutionality or inva- lidity shall not affect any of the remaining phrases, clauses, sentences, paragraphs and sections of this ordinance, since the same would have been enacted by the City Council without the incorporation in this or- dinance of any unconstitutional or invalid phrases, clauses, sentences, paragraphs or sections. It is further hereby declared to be the in- tention of the City Council of the City of Paris to exclude any area or areas described in the description of the property to be annexed, which are not within said City's jurisdiction to annex and that such area or areas should be carved out of the description of the property herein described by the valid judgment or decree of any court of competent jurisdiction, in order that such area or areas would not cause this annexation ordinance to be found to be invalid, voidable or void.
