Update on the Health Department. <br />POLICY ISSUE(S): <br />General Liability <br />There is a consensus of the Health Department Board that a new relationship needs to be formed <br />between the City of Paris, the Health Department, and Lamar County. To that end, the City Attorney <br />drafted a cooperative agreement which set out the nature of this relationship. The Health Department <br />Board delayed acting on this agreement because they wanted the new Health Department Administrator <br />to have input on the agreement. The Administrator was hired April 28th, and she is in the process of <br />reviewing the operations of the department.
