X= <br /> <br />XI. <br /> <br />XII. <br /> <br />Page 3 <br /> <br />counCil meeting. <br /> <br />Discussion on the provision of a "self-service" fuel pump at Cox Field: <br />The board recommends J. R. Aviation install the self-service fueling system <br />at Cox Field and be exempt from the fuel flow fee for t00LL gasoline to the <br />city until the cost of the system is recovered. The approximate c0st would be <br />$12,000 and it would take approximately two years to recover the cost. <br /> <br />Discussion regarding security at Cox Field Airport: ' <br />Mr. Ritchey stated that people living at the airport helps security. A <br />discussion of the position of cameras was held. A fixed camera facing west <br />to the entrance of the airport was needed; a fixed camera on the parking lot; <br />and a third camera would be a sweeping camera that would scan the ramp. <br /> <br />Tommy Haynes advised that he has talked to TxDot Aviation regarding a ramp <br />grant and Haynes recommends that we table this item until we hear from <br />TxDot Aviation. This item was tabled by the board. <br /> <br />Discussion of the possibility of installing flight planning equipment at Cox <br />Field: <br />The telephone lines are in place for a direct line to flight service in the pilots <br />lounge and a computer tied with the National Weather Service.
