ORDINANCE NO. 2321 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, <br />PROVIDING THAT THE CODE OF ORDINANCE, CITY OF PARIS, <br />BE AMENDED BY ADDING A SECTION TO BE NUMBERED 14-3; <br />PROVIDING FOR THE SECURING OF TRASH OR RUBBISH BEING <br />HAULED OR TRANSPORTED UPON THE PUBLIC STREETS; PRO- <br />VIDING FOR A PENALTY NOT TO EXCEED $200. 00; REPEALING <br />ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT <br />HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF <br />APRIL 1, 1977. <br />BE IT ORDA INED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PARIS: <br />Section 1. That the Code of Ordinances of the City of Paris, <br />Paris, Texas, be amended by adding a section to be numbered 14 -3, <br />to read as follows: <br />"Sec. 14-3. Trash, etc. to be secured in transit. <br />It shall be unlawful for any person to haul or <br />transport uncovered trash, rubbish, wastepaper, empty <br />boxes or cans, or any dry waste of any kind, character <br />or description, upon the public streets, without having <br />the same securely tied or covered in such a manner <br />to prevent such waste from blowing or falling from the <br />transporting vehicle. " <br />Section 2. Any person violating any of the provisions of this <br />ordinance shall be gu.ilty of a Class "C" Misdemeanor, and upon <br />conviction shall be fined in any sum not to exceed $200. 00. <br />Section 3. A 11 ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict <br />herewith are hereby expressly repealed. <br />Section 4.
