ORDINANCE NO. 2322 , <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, <br />PROVIDING THAT THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF <br />PARIS BE AMENDED BY REVISING DIVISION 3 AND SECTIONS <br />13 -59 THROUGH 13 -6R ~ OOD CODE, OPRO- <br />HYGIENE DECAL FO <br />VIDING FOR A PENALTY NOT TO EXCEED $200. 00; REPEALING <br />ALL ORDINANCES FOROAN EF ECTIVE DATE OF <br />HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING <br />MAY l, 1977. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PA R IS: <br />Section 1. That Division 3 and Sections 13 -59 through 13 -63 <br />of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be <br />amended so that such shall read as follows: <br />"DIVISION 3. FOOD HYGIENE DECAL <br />Section 13 -59. Required. <br />It shall be unlawful for any person to operate a food <br />establishment within the City or its police jurisdiction <br />for more than thirty (30) days without having a current <br />food hygiene decal. <br />Section 13 -60. Application. <br />Each person, within thirty (30) days of becoming an <br />operator of a food handling establishment, shall file with <br />the Paris-Lamar County Health Department a written <br />application for a food hygiene decal and shall satisfactorily <br />complete a food hygiene training course conducted by the <br />Paris-Lamar County Health Department. <br />Section 13 -61. Food Hygiene Training Course. <br />The Paris-Lamar County Health Department shall <br />conduct a food handlers' training course, consisting of <br />courses of instruction as prescribed by the Director of <br />said Health Unit, including but not limited to sanitary <br />food handling, state statutes and city ordinances relating <br />to food handling, food borne disease, prevention of di- <br />sease, personalhygiene, good housekeeping practices and <br />other related information, said course to be conducted <br />monthly as needed. <br />Section 13 -62. Fee. <br />The initial and annual decal fee shall be Five <br />Dollars ($5.00). <br />
