ORDINANCE NO. 2322 , AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, PROVIDING THAT THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF PARIS BE AMENDED BY REVISING DIVISION 3 AND SECTIONS 13 -59 THROUGH 13 -6R ~ OOD CODE, OPRO- HYGIENE DECAL FO VIDING FOR A PENALTY NOT TO EXCEED $200. 00; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES FOROAN EF ECTIVE DATE OF HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING MAY l, 1977. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PA R IS: Section 1. That Division 3 and Sections 13 -59 through 13 -63 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be amended so that such shall read as follows: "DIVISION 3. FOOD HYGIENE DECAL Section 13 -59. Required. It shall be unlawful for any person to operate a food establishment within the City or its police jurisdiction for more than thirty (30) days without having a current food hygiene decal. Section 13 -60. Application. Each person, within thirty (30) days of becoming an operator of a food handling establishment, shall file with the Paris-Lamar County Health Department a written application for a food hygiene decal and shall satisfactorily complete a food hygiene training course conducted by the Paris-Lamar County Health Department. Section 13 -61. Food Hygiene Training Course. The Paris-Lamar County Health Department shall conduct a food handlers' training course, consisting of courses of instruction as prescribed by the Director of said Health Unit, including but not limited to sanitary food handling, state statutes and city ordinances relating to food handling, food borne disease, prevention of di- sease, personalhygiene, good housekeeping practices and other related information, said course to be conducted monthly as needed. Section 13 -62. Fee. The initial and annual decal fee shall be Five Dollars ($5.00).
