ORDINANCE NO. 2325 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 2(a)1 OF ORDINANCE <br />NO. 1891; EST-ABLISHING THE SPEED LIMITS ON A CERTAIN POR- <br />TION OF F. M. 79, DESIGNATED 19TH STREET, N. W., FROM <br />ITS INTERSECTION WITH BONHAM STREET IN A NORTHERLY DI- <br />RECTION 0. 619 MILES; PROVIDING FOR A FINE NOT TO EXCEED <br />$200. 00; REPEALING ALL ORBINANCES QR PARTS OF ORDI- <br />NANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR AN <br />EFFECTIVE DATE OF MAY l, 1977. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF PARIS: <br />Section l. That Section 2(a)1 of Ordinance No. 1891 be <br />amended so that the same shall read as follows: <br />"l. From Bonham Street, North 0. 619 miles to a point <br />immediately North of Campbell Street's intersection, a speed <br />limit of 35 miles per hour at all times, other than when the <br />school children are actually crossing the highway, which will be <br />brought to the attention of the motorists by means of signs, and <br />then only between Mile Post 22. 054 and Mile Post 22. 254, at which <br />time a speed limit of 20 miles per hour shall be in effect, as <br />shown by strip map prepared by the Texas Highway Department <br />attached hereto." <br />Section 2. Any person violating any of the provisions of <br />this ordinance shall be guilty of a Class "C" Misdemeanor, and <br />upon conviction shall be fined in any sum not to exceed $200. 00. <br />Section 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in con- <br />flict herewith are hereby expressly repealed. <br />Section 4.
