ORDINANCE NO, 2328 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE CITY OF PA R IS, PA R IS, TEXA S, A ND CHA NG ING THE BOUNDA - RIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SA ID CITY; ESTABLISH- ING A COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) ON LOT 5, CITY BLOCK 167, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO MICI<EY YORI<, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS AN AGRICULTURAL DISTRICT (A); AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) SO ESTABLISHED. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established by the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a Comme.rcial District (C), be, and the same is hereby established on Lot 5, City Block 167, on property belonging to Mickey York, so as to include in such Commercial District (C) the hereinafter described property, which was formerly and is presently designated as an Agricultural District (A), and that the boutldaries of said Commercial District (C), be, and the same are hereby established as follows: Situated within the Corporate Limits of the City of Paris, County of Lamar, and State of Texas, a part of the James I<ing Survey #511, and being a part of a 50 acre tract of land conveyed William Claude Walker by deed recorded in Book 286, Page 107, of the Deed Records of said County and State, described by metes and bounds as follows in accordance with a survey made by W. R. Abbott, Registered Public Surveyor, on the 23rd day of April, 1971. BEGINNING at a stake for corner in the East Boundary Line of Farm Road 1497 at the Southwest corner of a 1 acre tract of land conveyed E. B. York by deed recorded in Book 508, Page 423, of said Deed Records. THENCE South along the East Boundary Line of Farm Road 1497 a distance of 230 ft, to a concrete marker for corner; THENCE along the North Boundary Line of Loop Highway 286 as follows: South 45 Deg. East a distance of 117 ft, to a concrete marker; South 83 Deg. 22 Min. East a distance of 200 ft. to a stake For corner; THENCE North a distance of 335 ft. to a stake for corner; THENCE West at 74 ft. being the Southeast corner of said York 1 acre, continuing on a total distance of 284 ft, to the place of beginning and containing 2 acres of land. Section 2. That the Director of Community Development of the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to change the Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use map accompanying the same, and in accordance with the prov.isions of this ordinance.
