ORDINANCE NO. 2331 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE CITY OF PARIS, FARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDA - RIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISH- ING A GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR) ON LOT l, CITY BLOCK 315, UPON PROPERTY OF WHI TO INCLUDEWTHEREINETERRROORy OWN A CURRENT OPTION, SO AS FORMERLY DESIGNATED OF THE GENERAllL RETAIL DISTRICT DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES (GR) SO ESTABLISHED. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: Section l. That the boundaries heretofore established by the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a General Retail District (GR), be, and the same is hereby established on Lot l, City Block 315, upon property of which Wayne Brown and Gene Brown own a current option, so as to include in such General Retail District (GR) the hereinafter described property, which was formerly and is pre- sently designated as an Agricultural District (A), and that the bounda- ries of said General Retail District (GR), be, and the same are here- by established as follows: Situated about 2 miles East of the Court House in the Corporate Limits of the City of Paris, County of Lamar and State of Texas, a part of the Joseph Leach Survey, and being all of Tract 1. and Tract 2 as described in deed from Covy Williams and wife, Catherine Williams, to Charles R. McClure, Jr. and recorded in Volume 417, Page 351 of the Lamar County Deed Records. BEGINNING at an iron pin for corner in a fence, said point being S 0° 40' W a distance of 493 feet from the Northeast corner of a tract of land conveyed to D. W. Wair by Lamar County as described in Volume 316, Page 265 of said deed records; said iron pin being also the Northeast Corner of said McClure's tract; THENCE S 89° 33' W with said McClure's North Boundary Line a distance of 482. 3 feet to an iron pin for corner in the East Boundary Line of Loop Highway 286; THENCE S 11° 32' E with said Highway's East Boundary Line a distance of 238. 1 feet to a concrete monument; THENCE S 20° 24' E with said Highway's East Boundary Line a distance of 506. 4 feet to a concrete monument; THENCE S 16° 11' E with said Highway's East Boundary Line a distance of 250. 8 feet to a concrete monument; THENCE S 60° 40' E with said Highway's East Boundary Line a distance of 154. 2 feet to an iron pipe in the North Boundary Line of U. S. Highway 82; THENCE N 79° 24' E with said U. S. Highway 82's North Boundary Line a distance of 40. 8 feet to an iron pipe for corner, same being the Southeast Corner of said McClure's tract;
