ORDINANCE NO. 2345 A N ORDINA NCE OF THE CITY OF PA R IS, PA R IS, TEXA S, PROVIDING THAT THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, BE AMENDED BY REVISING SUB-PARAGRAPHS (a) AND (b) OF SECTION 31-25 OF SAID CODE; PROVIDING FOR THE METHOD OF WATER AND SEWER SERVICE BILLING; REPEAL- ING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF SEPTEMBER 1, 1977. BE IT ORDA INED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: Section l. That Sub-paragraphs (a) and (b) of Section 31-25 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be amended so that such shall read as follows: "Sec. 31-25. Billing; when and where payable. (a) The division shall render bills for water and sewer service furnished by the City of Paris to any person, firm or corporation on a monthly basis, with such billing being rendered on or about the same day each month. Bills and accounts shall be due and payable on the lOth day following the billing date and shall become delinquent after the expiration of twenty-one (21) days following the billing date. (b) The division shall determine and designate the accounts for water and sewer service furnished by the City of Paris and the billing dates therefor, al1 of which shall be due and payable in the Water and Sewer Billing Office, 120 East Kaufman Street, Paris, Texas. " Section 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed. Section 3. This ordinance shall become effective on September 1, 1977.
