ORDINANCE NOo 2348 . AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE CITY OF PA R IS, PA R IS, TEXA S, A ND CHA NG ING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR) ON LOTS 8 AND 9, CITY BLOCI< 224A, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO CECIL ANDERSON, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A ONE-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT NO. 2 (SF-2); AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR) SO ESTABLISHED. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PAR IS: Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established by the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a General Retail District (GR), be, and the same is hereby established on Lots 8 and 9, City Block 224A, on property belonging to Cecil Anderson, so as to include in such General Retail District (GR) the hereinafter de- scribed property, which was formerly and is presently designated as a One-Family Dwelling District No. 2(SF-2), and that the bounda- ries of said General Retail District (GR), be, and the same are here- by established as follows: Situated within the Corporate Limits of the City of Paris, County of Lamar, and State of Texas, a part of the George W. Cox Survey, and being a part of a tract of land conveyed Morris Cass by deed recorded in Vol. 341, Page 54, also being a part of a tract of land conveyed Joe Hogan by deed recorded in Vol. 153, Page 512, of the Deed Records of said County and State. BEGINNING at a stake for corner at the Northwest corner of said Hogan tract of land. THENCE East along the South Boundary Line of Lamar Ave, a distance of 201. 5 ft. to a stake for corner at the present Northeast corner of said Cass tract of land; THENCE South 1 Deg. 30 Min. East along the West Boundary Line of 22nd S. E. a distance of 150 ft. to a stake for corner at the Southeast corner of said Cass tract of land; THENCE West a distance of 205. 5 ft. to a stake for corner in the West Boundary Line of said Hogan tract of land; THENCE North along the East Boundary Line of 21st S. E. a distance of :150 ft, to the place of beginning. Being described in accordance with an actual survey made on the ground by W. R. Abbott, Registered Public Surveyor No. 1443, on the 17th day of January, 1977. Section 2. That the Director of Community Development of the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to change the Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use map accompanying the same, and in accordance with the provisions of this ordinance.
