ORDINANCE NO. 2349 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 <br />OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARTS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE <br />BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; <br />ESTABLISHING A GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR) ON LOT l, <br />CITY BLOCI< 347, UPON PROPERTY OF WHICH RANDY LEE BROWN <br />OWNS A CURRENT OPTION, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRI- <br />TORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS AN AGRICULTURAL DISTRICT <br />(A); AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE GENERAL <br />RETAIL DISTRICT (GR) SO ESTABLISHED. <br />BE ITORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PARIS: <br />Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established by <br />the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, <br />Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a General <br />Retail District (GR), be, and the same is hereby established on <br />Lot l, City Block 347, upon property of which Randy Lee Brown <br />owns a current option, so as to include in such General Retail <br />District (GR) the hereinafter described property, which was for- <br />merly and is presently designated as an Agricultural District (A <br />and that the boundaries of said General Retail District (GR), be, <br />and the same are hereby established as follows: <br />Situated within the Corporate Limits of the City of <br />Paris, Lamar County, I'exas, a part of the Joseph Leach <br />Survey. <br />BEGINNING at the intersection of the E. B. L. of <br />U. S. Highway 271 with the S. B. L. of the T. & P. R. R. <br />right of way; <br />THENCE with the E. B. L. of U. S. Highway 271, <br />the following: S 54 ° 30' E, 33. 0 feet to a point; <br />S 37° 30' E, 103. 7 feet; S 54° 30' E, 352. 2 feet to a <br />poi nt ; <br />THENCE North 470 feet to a point in the S. B. L. <br />of said T. & P. R. R. right of way; <br />THENCE S 68 ° 00' W, 399 feet to the place of <br />beginning and containing 2. 104 acres. <br />Section 2. That the Director of Community Development of <br />the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to change the <br />Zoning Map of the City of Par. is in accordance with the provisions <br />of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use map accompanying the <br />same, and in accordance with the provisions of this ordinance. <br />Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict <br />herewith are hereby expressly repealed. <br />Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective immediately <br />upon passage. <br />
