ORDINANCE NO. 2349 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARTS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR) ON LOT l, CITY BLOCI< 347, UPON PROPERTY OF WHICH RANDY LEE BROWN OWNS A CURRENT OPTION, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRI- TORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS AN AGRICULTURAL DISTRICT (A); AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR) SO ESTABLISHED. BE ITORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established by the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a General Retail District (GR), be, and the same is hereby established on Lot l, City Block 347, upon property of which Randy Lee Brown owns a current option, so as to include in such General Retail District (GR) the hereinafter described property, which was for- merly and is presently designated as an Agricultural District (A and that the boundaries of said General Retail District (GR), be, and the same are hereby established as follows: Situated within the Corporate Limits of the City of Paris, Lamar County, I'exas, a part of the Joseph Leach Survey. BEGINNING at the intersection of the E. B. L. of U. S. Highway 271 with the S. B. L. of the T. & P. R. R. right of way; THENCE with the E. B. L. of U. S. Highway 271, the following: S 54 ° 30' E, 33. 0 feet to a point; S 37° 30' E, 103. 7 feet; S 54° 30' E, 352. 2 feet to a poi nt ; THENCE North 470 feet to a point in the S. B. L. of said T. & P. R. R. right of way; THENCE S 68 ° 00' W, 399 feet to the place of beginning and containing 2. 104 acres. Section 2. That the Director of Community Development of the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to change the Zoning Map of the City of Par. is in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use map accompanying the same, and in accordance with the provisions of this ordinance. Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed. Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon passage.
