ORDINANCE NO. 2358 <br />AN ORDINANCE SETTING A DATE, TIlVIE AND PLACE FOR <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS BEFORE THE PLANNING AND ZONING <br />COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PARIS AND THE CITY COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF PARIS ON THE PROPOSED ANNEXATION OF <br />CERTAIN PROPERTY BY THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, <br />AND APPROPRIATE GO THE MAYORATO PUBLISOHNNOTIDCE OF AUTHORIZ- <br />ING G AND DIRECTIN <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PARIS: <br />Section 1. That public hearings be held by and before the <br />Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, <br />on the 7th day of November, 1977, at 7:00 0' clock P. M. , in the <br />Counci l Room, Cit y Hall, Paris, Texas, and by and before the City <br />Council of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, on the 14th day of <br />November, 1977, at 7:00 o`clock P. M. , in the Council Room, City <br />Hall, Paris, Texas, giving all interested persons the right to <br />appear and be heard on the proposed annexation and appropriate <br />zoning upon annexation of the followi.ng described property: <br />TRACT l: Being all that certain tract or parcel of <br />land situated within the County of Lamar and State of Texas, <br />being a part of the Joseph Leach Survey, a part of a 44 <br />acre tract of land conveyed George O. Fisher, Jr. , by deed <br />recorded in Volume 312, Page 381 of the Deed Records of <br />said County and State, and also being a part of 57 acres <br />conveyed J. L. Jopling by deed recorded in Volume 312, <br />Page 505 of the Deed Records of said County and State <br />and being further described as follows: <br />BEGINNING at the southeast corner of Lot 13, <br />Block G, Morningside Estates No. 8, said point being in <br />the East Boundary Line of the above mentioned 44 acre <br />Fisher Tract and being in the present City Limit Line; <br />THENCE S 0 Degree 3 Minutes E, a distance of <br />204. 5 feet to a point for corner in the North Boundary Line <br />of the above mentioned 57 acre Jopling tract, said point <br />also being the Southeast corner of the above mentioned <br />44 acre Fisher tract and the Southeast corner of Lot 14, <br />Block "G" of Morningside Estates No. 8; <br />THENCE S 89 Degrees 34 Minutes E along the <br />North Boundary Line of the above mentioned Jopling tract, <br />a distance of 164. 0 feet to a point for corner, the <br />Northeast corner of said Jopling tract; <br />THENCE S 1 Degree 18 Minutes W along the East <br />Boundary Line of said Jopling tract a distance of 387. 5 <br />feet to a concrete monument for corner the Northeast <br />corner of Lot 3, Block "M" of Morningside Estates No. 5; <br />THENCE N 89 Degrees 34 Minutes W a distance of <br />158. 0 feet to a concrete monument for corner in the East <br />Boundary Line of 42nd Street S. E. ; <br />THENCE N 0 Degree 26 Minutes E along the East <br />Boundary Line of 42nd Street S. E. , a distance of 38. 0 <br />feet to a concrete monument for corner; <br />
