ORDINANCE NOo 2359 , AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING OftDINANCE N0. 1710 OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) ON A PART OF LOT 2, CITY BLOCI< 319, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO DON R. SMITH AND ROBERT L. SWAIM, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY TORMERLY DESIGNATED AS AN AGRICULTURAL DISTRICT (A); AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) SO ESTABLISHED. BE IT ORDA INED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: Section l. That the boundaries heretofore established by the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a Commercial District (C), be, and the same is hereby established on a part of Lot 2, City Block 319, on property belonging to Don R. Smith and Robert L. Swaim, so as to include in such Commercial District (C) the hereinafter described property, which was formerly and is pre- sently designated as an Agricultural District (A), and that the boundaries of said Commercial District (C), be, and the same are hereby established as follows: Being all that certain tract or parcel of land situated about two miles northeast of the City of Paris, County of Lamar, State of Texas, a part of the Hiram Williams Survey Abst. No. 1003, also a part of a 21 acre tract of land conveyed James S. Griffin by Marcia Williams Griffin by deed dated July 8, 1953 and of record in Vol. 337, Page 287 of the Deed Records of said County and State and being further described as follows: BEGINNING at an iron pin for corner, the existing southeast corner of the above mentioned 21 acre tract of land and said pin also being in the North Boundary Line of Loop Highway 286 and the West Boundary Line of the Joseph Leach Survey and the East Boundary Line of the Hiram Williams Survey; THENCE S 88 Degrees 55 Minutes W along the North Boundary Line of said Loop Highway a distance of 207. 8 feet to a concrete monument for corner; THENCE N 73 Degrees 19 Minutes W continuing along the North Boundary Line of said Highway a distance of 816. 6 feet to a concrete manument; THENCE N 65 Degrees 42 Minutes W a distance of 133. 7 feet to a stake for corner, the existing southwest corner of said 21 acres; THENCE N 0 Degrees 11 Minutes W along the West Boundary Line of said 21 acre tract a distance of 397 feet to an iron pin for corner; THENCE S 73 Degrees 28 Minutes E a distance of 1146. 8 feet to an iron pin for corner in the East Boundary Line of said 21 acre tract; THENCE S 2 Degrees 06 Minutes E along the East Boundary Line of said 21 acre tract a distance of 355. 7 feet to the place of beginning and containing 10. 396 acres of land. Being described in accordance with an actual survey made on the ground by R. S. Chaney, Registered Professional Engineer No. 15688, on February 27, 1976.
