ORDINANCE NO. 2360 . AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE CITY OF PA R IS, PA R IS, TEXA S, A ND CHA NG ING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A PUBLIC LANDS AND INSTITUTION DISTRICT (PLI) ON A PART OF LOT 5, CITY BLOCK 307, ON PROPERTY BE- LONGING TO R. B. STOVALL CO., SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A COMMERCIAL DIS- TRICT (C); AND DESIGNATINC THE BOUNDARIES OF THE PUBLIC LANDS AND INSTITUTION DISTRICT (PLI) SO ESTABLISHED. BE IT ORDAINED BY TI-IE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PA R IS: Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established by the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a Public Lands and Institution District (PLI), be, and the same is hereby established on a part of Lot 5, City Block 307, on property belong- ing to R. B. Stovall Co. , so as to include in such Public Lands and Institution District (PLI) the hereinafter described property, which was formerly and is presently designated as a Commercial District (C), and that the boundaries of said Public Lands and Institution District (PLI), be, and the same are hereby established as follows: Situated within the Corporate Limits of the City of Paris, County of Lamar, and State of Texas, a part of the Reddin Russell Survey #786, and being a part of a 18. 73 acre tract of land conveyed the R. B. Stovall Co. by deed recorded in Vol. 352, Page 259, of the Deed Records of said County and State. BEGINNING at a stake for corner in the West Boundary Line of U. S. Highway 271 a t the present Northeast corner of said Stovall tract of land. THENCE West a distance of 435 ft. to a stake for corner in the North Boundary Line of said tract of land; THENCE South 4 Deg. East a distance of 200 ft. to a stake for corner; THENCE East a distance of 435 ft, to a stake for corner; THENCE North 4 Deg. West along the West Boundary Line of U. S. Highway 271 a distance of 200 ft. to the place of beginning. and containing 2. 00 acres of land. Being described in accordance w.ith an actual survey made on the ground by W. R. Abbott, Registered Public Surveyor of Texas, No. 1443, on September 22, 1977. Section 2. That the Director of Community Development of the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to change the Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use map accompanying the same, and in accordance with the provisions of this ordinance. Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in con- flict herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
