ORDINANCE NO. 2361 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 <br />OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE <br />BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; <br />ESTABLISHING A COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) ON LOT l, CITY <br />BLOCI< 222A, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO GLENN A. <br />SMALLWOOD, SO AS TO INCLt1DE THEREIN TERRITORY FOR- <br />MERLY DESIGNATED AS A ONE-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT <br />NO. 2(SF-2); AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE <br />COMMERCLAL DISTRICT (C) SO ESTABLISHED. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF PA RIS: <br />Section l. That the boundaries heretofore established by the <br />Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, <br />Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a Commercial <br />District (C), be, and the same is hereby established on Lot l, City <br />Block 222A, on property belonging to Glenn A. Smallwood, so as to <br />include in such Commercial District (C) the hereinafter described <br />property, which was formerly and is presently designated as a One- <br />Family Dwelling District No. 2(SF-2), and that the boundaries of <br />said Commercial District (C), be, and the same are hereby es- <br />tablished as follows: <br />Situated within the corporate limits of the City of Paris, <br />County of Lamar and State of Texas, a part of the George <br />W. Cox Survey, and being a part of a tract of land con- <br />v e y e d M a r y Walker b y Deed of record in Book 143, Page <br />157, Lamar County Deed Records; <br />BEGINNING at the Southwest corner of said Walker <br />tract of land; <br />THENCE North with the West Boundary Line thereof <br />and the East Boundary Line of 21st St. N. E., 198 feet, to <br />the Southwest corner of the tract conveyed by Hilda Baulk <br />Porter to Fred Hodges et ux by Deed dated January 21, <br />1972, of record in Book 533, Page 263, Lamar County Deed <br />Records; <br />THENCE East with the South Boundary Line of said <br />Porter to Hodges tract, 83. 5 feet, to the East Boundary <br />Line of the Mary Walker tract; <br />THENCE South with the East Boundary Line thereof, <br />198 feet, to the Southeast corner of said tract; <br />THENCE West with the South Boundary Line thereof, <br />83. 5 feet, to the place of beginning. <br />Section 2. That the Director of Community Development of <br />the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to change the <br />Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance with the provisions <br />of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use map accompanying the <br />same, and in accordance with the provisions of this ordinance. <br />Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in con- <br />flict herewith are hereby expressly repealed. <br />
