LAWERENCE OAKS, EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR LETTER OF AGREEMENT The City of Paris has the opportunityto be agraduate city in the Texas Main Street Program. This Letter of Agreement represents your commitment to continue as an "Official Graduate Main Street City" for 2001. The following is a list of services your community will receive as a Graduate Main Street City: · Securing a Main Street Manager Should a replacement manager be needed, resumes of screened, qualified managers will be provided to the city manager by request. · Project Manager Training Specialists in the areas of organization, design, promotion and economic restructuring will provide training for local project managers. THC shall provide five training opportunities. As an Official Graduate Main Street City you agree to send your Main Street manager to at least two of these training sessions each year: New Manager or Graduate Manager Training (January/February); Texas Historical Commission Annual Conference in the spring; Texas Downtown Association Mid-year Conference in the spring; Main Street Summer Training (June); and Texas Downtown Association / Main Street Annual Conference (November). Ifa replacement manager who has not attended Main Street training is hired in an Official Graduate Main Street City, the Main Street manager will be required to attend the Texas Main Street Training in January and February. A stipend for this training will be charged to the graduate city. · Main Street Program Network As an Official Graduate Main Street City, the City of Paris will be listed in all official Main Street publications. The "Weekly Update," the Main Street communique is sent each week to all Texas Main Street cities. Graduate cities pay a stipend to help defray costs of duplication, Fax and postage. · Reporting As an Official Graduate Main Street City, the Main Street Manager for the City of Paris will submit Monthly Reports, including the Reinvestment Summary, by the 10th of the following month. A Ten Criteria Survey submitted to the Texas Main Street Center will also be required by September 1, 2001. · Service One staff visit by request will be made during the year to the City of Paris. PO.
