improvements on or off the right-of-way, such as fences, buildings, signs, poles, utilities, trees,
<br />shrubs, etc., unless designated for removal, and should such improvements be damaged, he shall
<br />make restitution to the satisfaction of their OWNER. The CONTRACTOR shall be responsible
<br />for such improvements that must be relocated or temporarily moved and shall do such work at
<br />his cost.
<br />Clean-Up
<br />At the conclusion of the work, and prior to final payment, all tools, temporary structures, and
<br />materials belonging to the CONTRACTOR shall be promptly removed. All rubbish and other
<br />foreign substances shall be removed from the project site and satisfactorily disposed of. All job
<br />sites including streets, easements, rights-of-way, roads, and areas used by the CONTRACTOR
<br />shall be left in a clean, neat condition satisfactory to their owner. The OWNER'S representative
<br />may also require clean-up of the job site or easements and rights-of-way periodically during the
<br />progress of the work.
<br />Burning of brush on the work sites will not be permitted without the landowner's permission, and
<br />then only in strict compliance with locai, state and federal laws. Any surplus excavated earth not
<br />designated for reuse shall be disposed of at approved locations secured by the CONTRACTOR
<br />at his expense, and rough leveled to the landowner's satisfaction.
<br />Payment for Incidental Items
<br />For unit price contracts, the payment for all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, overhead,
<br />and associated costs to complete the project contemplated by the drawings and/or specifications
<br />sha11 be according to the unit items set forth in the Bid Schedule. Payment for items required, but
<br />not set forth in the Bid Schedule as separate pay items, shall be considered as incidental and shall
<br />be included in the various items provided for in the Bid Schedule.
<br />For lump sum contracts, the lump sum specified in the Bid Schedule shall include all necessary
<br />labor, materials, equipment, supervision, overhead and associated costs to complete the project
<br />contemplated by the drawings and/or these specifications, whether specifically listed on the Bid
<br />Schedule, or not.
<br />Record Drawintts
<br />During progress of the job, the CONTRACTOR shall mark up a set of the drawings, including
<br />dimensions, to indicate any deviations from the contract drawings. After completion of the job,
<br />this set of record drawings is to be furnished to the ENGINEER for review, including sufficiency
<br />of information, clarity, and readability.
<br />Mobilization
<br />"Mobilization" shall consist of the mobilization of personnel, equipment and supplies at the
<br />project site and preparation for beginning work on other contract items. Mobilization shall
<br />include, but is not limited to, the movement of equipment, personnel, materials, supplies, etc. to
