ORDINANCE NO. 2369 AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE EXTENSION OF CER- TAIN BOUNDARY LIMITS OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN TERRITORY CONSISTING OF 3.30 ACRES, MORE OR LESS, WHICH IS LESS THAN TEN PER CENT (1070) OF THE TERRITORY INCLUDED WITHIN ITS PRESENT CITY LIMITS, WHICH SAID TERRITORY LIES ADJACENT TO AND ADJOINS THE PRESENT BOUNDARY LIMITS OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND PROVIDING ZONING FOR SAID TERRITORY. Whereas, a public hearing before the City Council of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, where all interested persons were provided with an opportunity to be heard on the proposed annexation of the following described territory, to-wit: TRACT l: Being all that certain tract or parcel of land situated within the County of Lamar and State of Texas, being a part of the Joseph Leach Survey, a part of a 44 acre tract of land conveyed George O. Fisher, Jr. , by deed recorded in Volume 312, Page 381 of the Deed Records of said County and State, and also being a part of 57 acres conveyed J. L. Jopling by deed recorded in Volume 312, Page 505 of the Deed Records of said County and State and being further described as follows: BEGINNING at the Southeast corner of Lot 13, Block G, Morningside Estates No. 8, said point being in the East Boundary Line of the above rr-entioned 44 acre Fisher Tract and being in the present City Limit Line; THENCE S 0 Degree 3 Minutes E, a distance of 204. 5 feet to a point for corner in the North Boundary Line of the above mentioned 57 acre Jopling tract, said point also being the Southeast corner of the above mentioned 44 acre Fisher tract and the Southeast corner of Lot 14, Block "G" of Morningside Estates No. 8; THENCE S 89 Degrees 34 Minutes E along the North Boundary Line of the above mentioned Jopling tract, a distance of 164. 0 feet to a point for corner, the Northeast corner of said Jopling tract; THENCE S 1 Degree 18 Minutes W along the East Boundary Line of said Jopling tract a distance of 387. 5 feet to a concrete monument for corner the Northeast corner of Lot 3, Block "M" of Morningside Estates No. 5; THENCE N 89 Degrees 34 Minutes W a distance of 158. 0 feet to a concrete monument for corner in the East Boundary Line of 42nd Street S. E. ; THENCE N 0 Degree 26 Minutes E along the East Boundary Line of 42nd Street S.
