ORDINANCE NO. 2380 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF <br />THE C ITY OF PA R IS, PA R IS, TEXA S, A ND CHA NG ING THE BOUNDA - <br />RIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MJAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISH- <br />ING A COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) ON LOT 3, CITY BLOCK 79A, ON <br />PROPERTY BELONGING TO VICTORENE YOUNG, SO AS TO INCLUDE <br />THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A TWO-FAMILY <br />DWELLING DISTRICT (2F); AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES <br />OF THE COMMERCLAL DISTRICT (C) SO ESTABLISHED. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PA R IS: <br />Section l. That the boundaries heretofore established by the <br />Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, <br />be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a Commercial District <br />(C), be, and the same is hereby established on Lot 3, City Block 79A, <br />on property belonging to Victorene Young, so as to include in s uch <br />Commercial District (C) the hereinafter described property, which was <br />formerly and is presently designated as a Two-Family Dwelling <br />District (2F), and that the boundaries of said Commercial District (C), <br />be, and the same are hereby established as follows: <br />Situated within the corporate limits of the City of Paris, <br />County of Lamar and State of Texas, a part of the Larkin <br />Rattan Survey on the North side of Cherry Street, described <br />by metes and bounds as follows: <br />BEGINNING at a stake the Southeast corner of a lot <br />conveyed to J. R. Hutton by W. E. Greiner et al on April 20, <br />1914; <br />THENCE West with the North Boundary line of Cherry <br />Street, 67 feet, a stake; <br />THENCE North 116 feet, a stake; <br />THENCE East 67 feet, a stake; <br />THENCE South 116 feet to the place of beginning. <br />Section 2. That the Director of Community Development of the <br />City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to change the Zoning Map <br />of the City of Paris in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance <br />No. 1710 and the land use map accompanying the same, and in <br />accordance with the provisions of this ordinance. <br />Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict <br />herewith are hereby expressly repealed. <br />Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective immediately <br />upon passage. <br />Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Paris in <br />regular session convened in the Council Room, City Hall, Paris, Texas, <br />on this the lOth day of April, 1978. <br />ar es M.
