ORDINANCE NO. 2382 . AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, PROVIDING THAT THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF PARIS, BE AMENDED BY ADDING A SECTION TO BE NUMBERED 7-25, PROVIDING THAT SECTIONS 7-20 THROUGH 7-24 ARE A PART OF THE BUILDING CODE OF THE CITY OF PARIS AND ESTABLISH- ING THE PUNISHMENT FOR THE VIOLATION OF THE SAME; PRO- VIDING FOR A PENALTY NOT TO EXCEED $200. 00; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF MAY l, 1978. BE IT ORDA INED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: Section l. That the Code of Ordinances of the City of Paris be amended by adding Section 7-25, to read as follows: "Section 7 25. Penalty. Sections 7-20 through 7-24 are a part of the Building Code of the City of Paris, and any person, firm or corporation violating the provisions of such sections shall be punished as provided in Section 7-17 of the Code of Ordinances, City of Paris. " Section 2. Any person violating any of the provisions of this ordinance shall be guilty of a Class "C" Misdemeanor, and upon conviction shall be fined in any sum not to exceed $200. 00, and each and every day's continuance of any violation of the above enumerated sections shall constitute and be deemed a separate offense. Section 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed. Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective on May l, 1978.
