ORDINANCE NO. 2388 ,
<br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710
<br />OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE
<br />BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY;
<br />ESTABLISHING AN OFFICE DISTRICT (O) ON LOT 2, CITY BLOCK
<br />182A, AND LOT 2, BLOCK B, FINN PLACE, ON PROPERTY BE-
<br />LONGING TO McCLANAHAN AND HOLMES, SO AS TO INCLUDE
<br />THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A MULTIPLE
<br />FAMILY DWELLINQ DISTRICT NO. 1(MF-1); AND DESIGNATING
<br />THE BOUNDARIES OF THE OFFICE DISTRICT (O) SO ESTABLISHED.
<br />BE IT ORDA INED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
<br />PA R IS :
<br />Section l. That the boundaries heretofore established by the
<br />Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris,
<br />Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that an Office
<br />District (O), be, and the same is hereby established on Lot 2, City
<br />Block 182A, and Lot 2, Block B, Finn Place, on property belonging to
<br />McClanahan and Holmes, so as to include in such Office District (O),
<br />the hereinafter described property, which was formerly and is pre-
<br />sently designated as an Office District (O), and that the boundaries
<br />of said Office District (O), be, and the same are hereby established
<br />as follows:
<br />FIRST TRACT: Situated in Lamar County, Texas,
<br />being a part of the Larkin Rattan Survey, on the West side
<br />of South 25th Street (now 5th Street, S. E. in the City of
<br />Paris, Texas;
<br />BEGINNING at the NE corner of a lot owned by W. G.
<br />Freese, which is 75 feet North of the intersection of 25th
<br />and Austin Street;
<br />THENCE North with the WB line of Birmingham
<br />Street (25 th) 50 feet;
<br />THENCE West 186 feet to a stake in the NB line of
<br />the Freese lot;
<br />THENCE South 50 feet to a stake in the NB line of
<br />the Freese lot;
<br />THENCE East with the NB line of the Freese lot
<br />186 feet to the place of beginning.
<br />Being the same property conveyed by Alfred F. Page
<br />and wife, Eda R. Page to W. G. Freese on December 27,
<br />1922, as shown in Deed Book 200, Page 288, Lamar County
<br />Deed Records, also being the same property as Lot 2,
<br />Block 182A of the City of Paris, Texas, at 216 Sixth
<br />Street, S. E.
<br />SECOND TRACT: Situated in Lamar County, Texas,
<br />a lot lying immediately West of and adjoining First Tract
<br />above, being approximately 78. 9 x 100 ft. described as
<br />Lot 2, Block "B", Finn Place Addition to the City of Paris,
<br />Texas, at 221 Fifth Street, S. E.
