ORDINANCE NOo 2389 0 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 <br />OF THE CITY OF PA R IS, PA R IS, TEXA S, A ND CHA NGING THE <br />BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; <br />ESTABLISHING A GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR) ON A PART <br />OF LOT 1, BLOCK B, JEFFERSON HEIGHTS ADDITION, ON PRO- <br />PERTY BELONGING TO LESLIE ECHOLS, SO AS TO INCLUDE <br />THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A ONE- <br />FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT NO. 2(SF-2); AND DESIGNATING <br />THE BOUNDARIES OF THE GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR) SO <br />ESTABLISHED. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PARIS: <br />Section l. That the boundaries heretofore established by the <br />Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, <br />Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a General <br />Retail District (GR), be, and the same is hereby e stablished on a <br />part of Lot l, Block B, Jefferson Heights Addition, on property be- <br />longing to Leslie Echols, so as to include in such General Retail <br />District (GR) the hereinafter described property, which was for- <br />merly and is presently designated as a One-Family Dwelling <br />District No. 2(SF-2), and that the boundaries of said General <br />Retail District (GR), be, and the same are hereby established as <br />follows : <br />Situated within the corporate limits of the City of Paris, <br />County of Lamar, State of Texas, a part of the Joseph Leach <br />Survey, and being Lot 1, in Block "B" of the Jefferson Heights <br />Addition, said Addition being duly recorded in the Plat Records <br />of said County and State. <br />BEGINNING at a point 161' north of a stake for corner <br />at the SW corner of said Lot 1; <br />THENCE North a distance oE 250' feet to a stake for <br />corner at the NW corner of said Lot l; <br />THENCE in a northeasterly direction along the south- <br />easterly boundary line of Loop Hwy. 286 around a curve to <br />the left a distance of 658. 8 feet to a stake for corner at the <br />most northerly north east corner of said Lot 1; <br />THENCE South 52 deg. 25 min. East a distance of <br />305. 3 feet to a stake for corner at the most eastern north - <br />east corner of said Lot l; <br />THENCE South along the west boundary line of Farm <br />Road 905 a distance of 82. 5 feet; <br />THENCE Westerly a distance of 150 feet; <br />THENCE Southwesterly 75 feet; <br />THENCE South 187. 5 feet to a stake for corner in the <br />north west corner of said Lot 2; <br />THENCE Southwesterly a distance of 225 feet to the <br />extended right of way of 40th Street S. E. ; <br />THENCE 50 feet west; <br />THENCE 76-1/2 feet south along the extended right of <br />way of 40th Street S. E. ; <br />THENCE West 162.5 feet; <br />THENCE Southwesterly to the point of beginning. <br />
