ORDINANCE NOo 2389 0 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE CITY OF PA R IS, PA R IS, TEXA S, A ND CHA NGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR) ON A PART OF LOT 1, BLOCK B, JEFFERSON HEIGHTS ADDITION, ON PRO- PERTY BELONGING TO LESLIE ECHOLS, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A ONE- FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT NO. 2(SF-2); AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR) SO ESTABLISHED. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: Section l. That the boundaries heretofore established by the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a General Retail District (GR), be, and the same is hereby e stablished on a part of Lot l, Block B, Jefferson Heights Addition, on property be- longing to Leslie Echols, so as to include in such General Retail District (GR) the hereinafter described property, which was for- merly and is presently designated as a One-Family Dwelling District No. 2(SF-2), and that the boundaries of said General Retail District (GR), be, and the same are hereby established as follows : Situated within the corporate limits of the City of Paris, County of Lamar, State of Texas, a part of the Joseph Leach Survey, and being Lot 1, in Block "B" of the Jefferson Heights Addition, said Addition being duly recorded in the Plat Records of said County and State. BEGINNING at a point 161' north of a stake for corner at the SW corner of said Lot 1; THENCE North a distance oE 250' feet to a stake for corner at the NW corner of said Lot l; THENCE in a northeasterly direction along the south- easterly boundary line of Loop Hwy. 286 around a curve to the left a distance of 658. 8 feet to a stake for corner at the most northerly north east corner of said Lot 1; THENCE South 52 deg. 25 min. East a distance of 305. 3 feet to a stake for corner at the most eastern north - east corner of said Lot l; THENCE South along the west boundary line of Farm Road 905 a distance of 82. 5 feet; THENCE Westerly a distance of 150 feet; THENCE Southwesterly 75 feet; THENCE South 187. 5 feet to a stake for corner in the north west corner of said Lot 2; THENCE Southwesterly a distance of 225 feet to the extended right of way of 40th Street S. E. ; THENCE 50 feet west; THENCE 76-1/2 feet south along the extended right of way of 40th Street S. E. ; THENCE West 162.5 feet; THENCE Southwesterly to the point of beginning.
