ORDINANCE NO. 2392 . <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, <br />PROVIDING THAT THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF PARIS, <br />PARIS, TEXAS, BE AMENDED BY REVISING SECTION 25-1 OF <br />SAID CODE; PROVIDING FOR THE COMPOSITION OF THE PARIS <br />POLICE DEPARTMENT; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS <br />OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING <br />FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF JULY l, 1978. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PARIS: <br />Section 1. That Section 25-1 of the Code of Ordinances of the <br />City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be amended so that such shall read as <br />follows: <br />"Sec. 25-1. Composition of department. <br />The police department of the city shall be com - <br />posed of the chief of police and thirty-two (32) <br />members classified as follows: <br />(1) One (1) assistant chief. <br />(2) Four (4) police lieutenants. <br />(3) Five (5) police sergeants. <br />(4) Twenty-two (22) police officers. " <br />Section 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict <br />herewith are hereby expressly repealed. <br />Section 3.
